  1. Add some Southern Comfort to that concoction and you'll get a Funky Cold Medina. That was my drink of choice in college.
  2. I love your reviews, and this one is already fabulous! Keep up the great work and I look forward to more.
  3. I love the photos, Sid! Thank you so much for taking us along once again. Safe travels home, and I will try to catch you back at The Tribe. I'm still very behind but trying to get there. And 99 days until your next adventure? You are living life right. I am so happy for you!
  4. I just found this and so excited to follow along. At least I made it before you boarded. Have an amazing cruise!
  5. Thanks for your great review! I'm so sorry you brought back the souvenir of Covid, though 😥
  6. Congrats on your achievement at work! I'm enjoying the review and all of your beautiful photos. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️⚓️
  7. Thank you, Jeff and Patti! I always look forward to reading about your trips and I'm so excited to follow you along on this special ship-to-ship sailing. That kind of cruise is on my bucket list, so I'm looking forward to your take on it all. Thanks again!
  8. I haven't had the new wings yet, but I always order them extra crispy with sauce on the side, and they taste so much better that way. And someone already mentioned salad hacks. I always request anchovies for my caesar salad in the main dining room and get them.
  9. Limoncello Martinis are a favorite of mine! I also love the Guava Berry Mohito and Grasshopper.
  10. I'm looking forward to following your adventure. Please post photos if you can too.
  11. As an NCL girl, I really appreciate your perspective. I'm looking forward to reading more.
  12. I'm always excited to follow you along! I hope this week goes quickly and smoothly for you and Friday comes before you know it.
  13. I know that the hospitality industry is changing, but with the increase in daily service fee, this really upsets me. The service on NCL has always been my favorite part of cruising vs a land vacation. The twice a day service is really special, and I would always tip extra for towel animals too. Having the morning and evening services made me feel like I has given a little luxury and special treatment as a guest. It really is the little things that make a difference. I still miss the pillow mints to be honest, but more importantly, I love coming back to a clean room after a port day and the daily on my bed with a towel animal at night. This is one cutback that really stings and may make me jump to a different line in a couple years 😭😭😭
  14. I'm so happy that you made it and love hearing about adventures with your dad. Happy cruising!
  15. Thanks again for the awesome review! I'm looking forward to your next one. Will the rest of your alphabet be joining at all?
  16. Thanks for a great review as always! Enjoy your next one, and I look forward to following along 😊
  17. Happy to hear that you made it home. Thanks again for taking us all along!
  18. I hate being so late to this party, but I am so happy to finally check in. Your reviews and nightly prayers are the absolute greatest. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these for us!
  19. I've been following along but only now caught up. I definitely disappear and reappear on Cruise Critic due to bring so darn busy. Loved Greg's review last week and now yours. I would love to get back to The Tribe at some point as well. Miss you all!
  20. I've been to all three and am not a beach person. So many great things to explore at all three, but be sure to check the port forums. Curaçao was our favorite. We rented a car and drove to the western end of the island to hike to the highest peak. Only one road goes there, so it's an easy drive. You have to go early or they won't let you go due to heat. Then we grabbed local food, went to the caves (which gave us a private tour!) and then went to the Blue Curaçao factory. It was empty there by the time we went since tour groups had already passed through. Definitely one of my favorite port days ever!
  21. My first cruise was in high school when my choir competed against other schools on the Carnival Fantasy. I sold over 2,000 candy bars in order to go, and I immediately fell in love with the ocean and dreamed of going back. My family didn't have any money for vacations, I went into student loan debt attending a state college, and then I started working in the nonprofit world while paying back said loans back. Many years later future husband and I opted to throw our wedding plans out the window since we were too poor anyway. We had a skydiving wedding instead, then spent the rest of our wedding money on a 7 night NCL cruise. He was hooked, I was relaxed like never before, and we vowed to come back to sea. We now try to cruise every two years or so and especially enjoy longer journeys. I dig for bargains when possible and budget every penny to make it happen. We both work in mental health now, so vacation is incredibly important. NCL has always given us a wonderful experience, so we're Platinum and don't really have plans to switch. However, I definitely follow the other boards here and have thought about switching it up someday.
  22. A collapsible hamper, packing cubes, a mini umbrella, a luggage tag that has a sewing kit inside, a cruise safe multi device charger, magnetic hooks, and reusable straws.
  23. Thanks for the great review, I loved following along and really appreciated the port guides tip.. I can't wait to really dig into planning since I'm headed to Canada and New England next year myself 😀
