  1. Sailed out of Galveston on NCL Prima the 12th. (PERFECT timing w/ the arctic blast & storms) Quite cool & day 2 slightly warmer but not swimsuit weather. Sea day on Day 7 was slightly warmer but little sun. Sailed out of Galveston last March & warm the whole time. Not sure I'll do Galveston in winter anymore. Mahogany Bay is Princess' stop in Belize I thought.
  2. Interesting. Did UK last May out of Hamburg (MSC--don't do it) & N Europe in Oct out of Southampton (Princess) after a few days in London. Did not notice dresses AT ALL on either cruise or in Europe (or Amsterdam). Both were cool, so most people were dressed WARM & relatively casually. The lack of crisp bacon is true--they always had a separate tray of crisp I had to ask for at the buffet. If I ate in a restaurant, I had to ask for CRISP (or burnt on land!)
  3. I have a little pill container that contains my few prescription meds--blood pressure meds, estrogen & progesterone. (4 total) When space is an issue, I put them in tiny baggies, labeled. I have taken them to Europe, Caribbean & traveled domestically this way. I see on the AUS government website it says they need to be in their original pill bottle. Do you feel this is necessary? A couple bottles are large & a terrible waste of space. Could I just clip a pic of each label to keep on my phone? How about over the counter meds--are they OK in small labeled baggies? Thanks for your help!
  4. We were going to book NC last month...luckily we DID NOT. Steady rain most of the day. Not passing or light showers!
  5. UPDATE I earlier shared that I had submited our requests via the Stockperks app for our April cruises. Within 48 hours Stockperks emailed that our OBC had been successfully applied. We have a B2B & should have had $250 on leg 1 & $100 on leg 2. The $100 showed up on the Princess site soon thereafter. But the $250 did not. Emailed Stockperks & they said it went thru on their end, to contact Princess. After the holidays I contacted Princess via the email I had from when I sent Shareholder OBC requests via email. They did NOT email back BUT the $250 is now showing online.
  6. OK I can't speak of these BUT when I have OBC from a TA, it doesn't show up online on the Princess site, but it does once onboard. I always take a screenshot of the original invoice which shows it JUST in case.
  7. Will this be credited back to my credit card or show up as OBC? Thanks
  8. Love you Canadians! Regarding Galveston & lots of TX passengers... Sailed Ruby from Galveston in March & really didn't notice it particularly. We just got off NCL Prima out of Galveston & WOW--LOTS of Texans! The most party cruise I've ever been on! (well other than a 5 day Spring Break Celebrity cruise that was 75% FSU students😳) Thanks for the reports from everyone. We are on the Regal for 28 days in April.
  9. I'm no wine snob either--Aldi $3 Winking Owl Pinot Grigio is good by me! BUT I AM picky about what I like. Pinot Grigio is usually fine. Sauvignon Blanc needs to be from NZ/AUS or Europe. Don't care for CA or Chile. I will likely do the 50% off choice.
  10. I agree w/ @NutsAboutGolf Go Ascent or Beyond. Tho u can't go wrong with any of them.
  11. OMG Eden's crab cake is my FAVORITE one anywhere. If only for that, worth the visit! (tho never disappointed!) Can't wait to hear about the rest of the meal. OK...I JUST finished my coffee & it's not even 11 here. PLUS...giving my liver a rest from the last 2 weeks... (with all the storms the week before we left, we headed up to casinos to be sure we were there to catch the plane. Plus days with our Bullit loving friend in Houston...OOF)
  12. Hit $2800 on video poker (Ultimate X Bonus streak...new one for us) on NCL Prima last week. Largest payout I have ever won. ($1K is usually top end for VP) Playing nickels, 3 handed, ($1.50/spin total) flopped me a Royal & I had a 12x bonus on one hand. NO COMPLAINTS! (sr @mac_tlc not trying to hijack your thread...it was just too fun & had to share)
  13. I PROMISE F&W is your kinda party, Charla! We have done it & the Flower & Garden one in the spring. Epcot is our fav park--Dan has said he could easily just got to eat & drink our way around the park.
  14. YOU are the one who got me on Woodford in April! (that peaches & bourbon in Luminae was YUMMY) I have been experimenting w/ Old Fashions now. On Beyond last month I ordered one at Craft Social--DELISH. No idea what bourbon it was. Then one at that Club. Not so good. Our friend drinks Bullit so tried it with the. Naw, not for me. Tried Woodford--YEP, THAT'S THE TICKET. SO I BLAME YOU!!🤭 (Yes, thx for tagging me...we just got home Saturday from a week on the NCL Prima, so still not fully caught up on my CC readings!)
  15. OK, I know they will take this & return the last day. My question: will this be the last day of the 1st cruise? Or will they keep it until the very end. Thinking about what bags I would need to transport between cabins or home. Thanks!
  16. $120 for 5 bottles--so $24/bottle (no grat on AUS cruises) Not WAY overpriced, imo. For example: Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc is a choice (at least on my NZ cruise) Runs about $15 at Target. I can very much live w/ $24/bottle--about $5/glass. Half price of wine by the glass. Since my 2nd cruise is 12 days I will round out that package w/ my 50% off options at the Steakhouse! (in addition to the one I carry on...)
  17. How were you able to do this needing to be out of one room early & the other one not available until later? (room the 2nd week is just a few doors down from my 1st week so likely the same steward. A nice tip & I think it could be pretty seamless)
  18. About the same price per bottle for what I drink as the wine package...I think THAT should round out my needs!
  19. Huh not an option on my NZ/SPacific B2B
  20. Interesting POVs here. We have sailed nearly 40 cruises over 20 years across most mainstream lines, over most months of the year. Our children have sailed 5 cruises with us on various lines, from when they were children to young adults. Most in the Caribbean until the last couple years since we retired. Now, we have only done Carnival 1x to Hawaii (this year). Only 5 RCCL cruises (2 with the kids)--and the last one with the kids was out of NYC (2018). We have NOT ONCE seen widespread out of control children or teens. I thought this was a one off for OP but your comments suggest otherwise. As with MSC, I should have paid attention to the reviews... Venezia out of NYC has been cancelled for me; it probably was going to be cancelled anyway, but this sealed the deal. (after MSC I realize I have no tolerance for widespread rude passenger behavior...perhaps the 30 years of teaching under my belt)
