I hope that is a decision you both don’t have to make so you can enjoy your vacation together. I was thinking of you earlier when Musso & Frank Grill popped up . It is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood. I’m sure you would enjoy it . Old school with red vinyl booths and delicious food and drinks . Lots of TV and movies are /were filmed there . No celebrities when we ate there. Maybe some places survive on their reputations . I don’t remember tents in the San Pedro or San Diego ports .

How are you and Linda ? Is Linda recovering well ? My hubby’s only post knee problem is aching near the knee . Must strengthen those muscles. Wishing you both well .

It is a great O’Keefe and Henry Moore exhibition. Lots of paintings and sculptures and we had a fun garden lunch afterwards. What was not so great was the tons of people in Balboa Park and lack of parking spaces . Title of painting is Canna .

I vaguely remember you mentioning the Panama Canal to Tampa ? Yes ? San Pedro is the port where my husband received great service with assistance with embarkation due to his knee. San Diego and Holland America on the other hand was just awful. I’m going to a Georgia O’Keefe exhibition tomorrow with a friend. She has just returned from NYC and I can’t believe my artist friend didn’t visit the Met Museum. We’ll probably see some great photography from her husband Stieglitz .

If I’m recalling correctly you are sailing from San Pedro . Are you staying in Anaheim , Long Beach or closer to the port ? We stayed at the Doubletree which was just so-so but not bad .

I won $ 2.00 . It might just cost me that much to go claim my big jackpot. The problem that I see with “ computer “ picks is that sometimes duplicate numbers are picked. You might get a losing Powerball number multiple times . I’m no expert on this . Good luck 🎰

A woman died on this cruise. That is more serious. She became ill and was taken to the hospital at the next port and didn’t make it .

Did you you go ask for the half and half and point out their mistake? Coming on here and accusing them of an intentional lie seems unjust until fully investigated.
