    ASIA is looking good for 2025, with both the Jewel and Sky scheduled for some fine itineraries, making 4 stops in the Philippines.

    My wife won our first cruise in a raffle in 2006, so Mariner was our first and favorite. Loved doing the Dubai to Barcelona cruise also on Mariner, just the right size, had the best bridge game I ever enjoyed. Liked Adventure and Anthem also, looking forward to a TA with Explorer next month.

    Rule of thumb: Never book the last cruise before drydock nor the first cruise after drydock. Quite the april Fools joke on those passengers, would hope you could get some flight reimbursements.

    You bought last minute, paid a huge amount, got the overpriced drink package, bad choices and then you got the FLU. So your future wife won't be badgering you to take cruises. Hope you enjoy whatever you do instead.

    Going to be in Miami 3 nights before boarding Explorer on 4/23/23 for a 15 day TA to Rome. Anyone know where the best place is to get a Covid test within 2 days of boarding? Will be staying in a hotel.

    Correct, the NCL Pride of America, US flagged ship, does Hawaii only cruises, does not have a casino on board.

    Cartagena has a great collection of torture devices used during the inquisition, found them on our own.

    Similar group in eastern PA called the Swing Time Dolls, but they never played on a cruise ship even though I advised them to do so.

    Glad to hear you resolved the deposit dilemma. Hope you get to the Philippines soon. NCL has some nice cruises, one starting from Manila and another ending in Manila while stopping in Boracay and Puerto Princessa.

    Wells Fargo offers a card with 2% rewards for all purchases, better than the restrictive RCI card.

    Will be getting on Explorer of the Seas on 4/23/23, flying into Miami International on 4/20/23. Looking for a fairly cheap place to stay and see parts of the city on two full days. Any info would be appreciated, looking to try a lot of Latin American food.
