  1. Regent doesn't have an evening "buffet". They have an antipasto "buffet" in Sette Mare. The complimentary Champagne is Heidsieck & Co Monopole Blue Top Brut. They also have a couple of really nice brands of drinkable Prosecco. The corridor party is not mandatory.
  2. Just remember, if everybody ignores their boarding time and show up at a 12:00, then there will be lengthy waits, and I imagine some complaints.
  3. We were told that with the permission of the guest, the room attendant can take it and put it in the crew lounge.
  4. They are included if it is an "experience". For example: "Antarctica Experience" or "South Georgia Experience" basically includes zodiac excursions and transfers to and from an island or landing site with naturalist guides. However, that does not include kayaks or submarines.
  5. Regent notified me by email of changes to my deviated air schedule. Fortunately, they weren't major changes and didn't require a change in our plans. My guess is if it is a major change, Regent will let you know what needs to be done.
  6. We were not given a tour option when we flew from USH to EZE this past January. We had to stand in line at the airport for almost 3 hours before the check-in desk opened. So be prepared for that situation. It was really a bummer.
  7. I took my Mom and sister to Tokyo about 10 years ago. At a restaurant we went to, the translation for one of the meat skewers was "Chicken Butt". Well of course, I had to order it just to see what exactly is chicken butt. It was a whole skewer of little chicken tails. Sometimes, things do get lost in translation.
  8. I looked this morning, and the correct FCC amount was applied to my balance. Click on Manage Payments and you will see the FCC has been applied there.
  9. Oh - perhaps that is the one I was looking at.
  10. I was on the Holiday Cruise with the stabilizer issues. No, they didn't fall off. They were at 50% capacity. If they had fallen off, I doubt we would have ever left the port.
  11. I saw one cruise that was well over a year away - can't remember now which one - was marked as "waitlisted" in every category. I was thinking that maybe it could be a private charter.
  12. I was just told, "Please give us one more week."
  13. I'm going to be out of the house this AM, but I will call later and see what they say, and let you know.
  14. I have found that the tour provider will usually pass out some kind of packaged snack for those who have been trekking/hiking.
  15. Not yet. I was told that I would receive it by the end of February. I'm willing to wait another week, and then I will be on the phone asking where the credit is on my account. That is a huge chunk of change.
  16. I think it is more the idea that I would expect people on Regent to be more mature, polite and sophisticated in their behavior.
  17. Not true. Some excursions are geared more towards those with mobility issues, so it is a panorama type tour (basically, stay on the bus and drive around.) Others are for the more active. It's important to read the description and not rely on the title of the tour. A rating system won't work, because what is good for some, might not be good for others. Again, just read the description.
  18. Also, let the Seabourn Square people know what time your private transportation is picking you up. They will be happy to give you a disembarkation time that will work for you. I agree with Nancy - I would plan on 8:30AM (at the earliest.)
  19. There are people of all ages on the Seabourn ships. You will fit in just fine.
  20. That is a great question. I love having a clock in the room. I have noticed more and more hotels are going clock-less. Hate it!
  21. Thank you for all the tips and ideas.
  22. Typically, when does Regent pay the airlines for a booked flight (booked through Regent)? I have a flight in less than 90 days, and would like to change my seat. American won't let me do that until the flight is paid for and ticketed. Any clues?
  23. Does anybody know how many times you can use a shareholder OBC? Is it every time you cruise if you own shares?
  24. On a similar note. We were on the Seabourn Venture over the holidays. No problem with sun lounger hogs, but somebody "reserved" the two best comfy, well placed lounge chairs in Seabourn Square everyday. I always looked and there was the same backpack, reader, coffee cups. Rarely did I actually see someone sitting in those two chairs. I often wonder how these people react if someone were able to get to those chairs first.
