  1. As someone who worked 20 years in the airline industry "lost bags" were an extreme rarity. I left the industry in 2002. Nevertheless that was then and this is now. Happy tracking to all.
  2. I see Azamara just ended embarkation testing effective 7-25. Vax still required. The article did not specifically mention the US but it comes right on the heels of yesterdays CDC news. Buckle up everyone!
  3. You had a good run. Feel better rest up.
  4. Well hang on here we go! This should be interesting.
  5. Given your circumstances that sounds like the right thing for YOU. That being said we all have to let each other do what they think is best for THEM. Hope your husband is well
  6. Book it........we will be onboard Tgiving as well.
  7. I can't pull the wagon without some help! 22 days in 2021 29 days in 2022 with 59 days of cruising still left this year! We wanted to make up for being robbed of 2020 and we have........and then some!
  8. Obviously they are both important to CCL
  9. You could be right but if so Royal knows where the problem is. Carnival corporate management is not going to continue to let it hurt the Brands reputation. They know it looks awful.
  10. It does not sound like you are asking for much. Whoever booked it should be able to help you get the BP.
  11. I am sorry for your loss. This is something that is a battle with all the lines. A friend of mine who has passed away recently lost his Wife weeks before a cruise on another line. The line refused to do anything for either of them so he ate the whole bill because his grief was too great to cruise. He vowed to never use that line again and he stuck to it. It would be just plain decent with a death certificate that all the lines would be compassionate. I wish you the best with this.
  12. I took a look at our upcoming October cruise out of SD and it was offering the Sheraton. We already have our reservation but wanted to check and let you know.
  13. Did anyone come back to those stock threads and admit they missed this one? Lol
  14. This has turned into the kind of thread that if all this doom and gloom doesn't happen nobody will come back to post I was wrong on this one.
  15. It's my understanding they only count capacity as 2 adults in each cabin. The extra 10% is where 3 or 4 are now in a cabin. The extra 3rd and 4th guests are usually kids. (Which obviously makes sense with lines like Royal and Carnival)
  16. I posted back in May of 2020 that it would not surprise me at all to see Princess and HAL merge and now we have a good idea how that would work. Looking at Carnival and Costa kind of proves the point. They will also discard the older ships and become leaner to survive the obstacles with testing, vaccinations and inflation. I have no doubt CCL at their highest levels is looking at everything very closely.
  17. On behalf of your parents....thank you.
