  1. That may have been speculation - last week's itinerary was "normal". She has a few more weeks left before her repo. The only itineraries that were affected are the ones which require long high speed runs - even if the issue is still there in September, if you don't have such an itinerary, there should be no changes.
  2. The same topic could be sliced endlessly into different threads but folks tend to post the same stuff no matter how you slice it. BTW, no one here or in the other two threads knows what exactly happened to the attacker. Biker, who is surprised the "usual" lawyer has not weighed in on this.
  3. It is very rare than a ship offers Voom discounts on board - buy in the planner now. Typically the only informed folks who buy Voom on board are higher level C&A members who have a significant on board discount (D and D+).
  4. The info in the app gets more complete/accurate as you get closer to sailing. While Q class ships have four named main dining venues, for the app it is just considered the MDR - the menu is the same in all of them as well as under the MTD listing. There are two versions of Ripcord and Northstar - usually, you can only book the free version on board at certain times, the paid version should become available in the planner closer to sailing. As mentioned above, use the online web browser based planner for purchases pre-cruise. For more complete/accurate general info, set the app to the current sailing, not yours.
  5. in the planner usually all items except excursions and Voom packages have 18% added to them - you can confirm by putting the item in your cart and the price break down should show that just before checkout.
  6. Other than seeing account activity in the app, you can’t make any adjustments to it without visiting GS.
  7. It sometimes helps to limit the search to titles only - very few thread titles in the RCI section with “magician” in it.
  8. How many you get at one time likely varies by venue and staff.
  9. Then I assume the ship won't have one if not listed in the app (under Activities or Entertainment).
  10. Yes, but don't bid based on online inventory - some have won an upgrade when the ship looked full online.
  11. RCI IT incompetence answers many questions, including this one - very unlikely any CEO would address something like that.
  12. The app may list that under Activities when set to the current sailing.
  13. Many of the answers can be gleaned by browsing the app for the current sailing with the understanding some things may change a bit for Alaska.
  14. Yes. The value of any purchase is up to you. Read some Wonder related threads - drop down menu on the main RCI page here at CC.
  15. You'd have to go through the app on all ships in the fleet to confirm, but probably not likely but more like majority.
  16. Welcome to CC. They can do that on both - set the app to each ship's current sailing and look at the activities offered to see what's more appealing.
  17. It doesn't matter who pays - you get the points for the cabin you sail in.
  18. I don't recall any ship likely to do that route without existing itineraries - they may not offer any.
  19. She just got to Cadiz - not sure they'd know this fast they won't finish on time.
  20. Even the front-line CSRs don't have access to all available inventory - they typically see the same inventory you see online.
  21. Again, the inventory you see online does not reflect the true inventory - it just appears sold out to you online (unless you somehow have access to the complete internal inventory).
  22. The inventory you see online is not complete and cabins become available all the time for various reasons.
