  1. Look at the current sailing in the app - it may offer clues. Those may or may repeat on your sailing.
  2. All of them are supposed to get it by the end of March. This thread is resurrected by some to report progress:
  3. You should be able to book the shows about a month out. Adjust your dining around those times.
  4. The reported download speeds vary wildly (from the "normal" limit of 4Mbps to over 100Mbps, which likely won't last), but the performance on all will be improved by the huge gain in latency speed (down from 600ms+ as low as 50ms - the lower the better).
  5. Unless you are gambler stick with what you have - you might get the same 4D (or worse) you will get with what you have now.
  6. Yes, RCI doesn't have a tier for just email and the lower tier Surf seems to be going away on most ships (not available at all in the planner), leaving only the more expensive Stream tier as the only choice. If you only need check occasionally, you'll probably find free wifi in ports.
  7. This crowdsourced document (which lists Starlink and other features) is somewhat up to date: RCI app matrix - Google Sheets
  8. Welcome to CC. Only you would know your drinking pattern - the break even for you would be about 7 drinks/day (2 free+5 from drink package). Unless you know for sure you'll drink that much (somewhat unlikely on a Med cruise), skip the package and buy a la carte.
  9. Read some of the threads about the ship you're going on - use the drop-down menu on the main CC RCI page for the ship listing.
  10. That varies by the drink, from a low of ~$3 for sodas to $8+ for other types - the break-even is usually about 3+ of the more expensive drinks. The app may list the prices for some drinks under some of the bars.
  11. Go to the MDR after boarding and ask about changing times with MTD or switch to traditional.
  12. The app lists some drink prices (most are under the $14 limit) - the breakeven is usually about 5 drinks.
  13. RCI has discontinued downline embarkations with the COVID shutdown.
  14. In the latest SEC filing, RCI mentioned that it has a planned 30-35 year useful life for their ships, so like Grandeur, many of the older ships will just soldier on with little to no upgrades (the money for those will go into ever more expensive required maintenance).
  15. To be fair, even when they had them, the printed bar menu hardly included all the drinks on the "menu" and I'd venture to guess few land-based bars have full printed drinks menu either.
  16. No (yet). RCI wants to be with the times, even if some customers don't like it.
  17. Surf may have been removed from the planner to purchase pre-cruise, but some ships may still offer it on board.
  18. If you fly out to Singapore and sail Spectrum, then you might see it.
