  1. At the bottom of the main screen there should be a link to browse other ships - all sailings within final payment should be there.
  2. I should have specified to choose the closest in sailing, not yours.
  3. That's subjective - the big screen faking a balcony is mostly a gimmick.
  4. The app may list that - look at close in sailings. You can bring your own skates, but very unlikely it's worth the effort.
  5. The Northstar is not highest point on Q class and very unlikely RCI would consider that one any other ship.
  6. TAs and other special guests were on a special sailing on 7/16. The naming ceremony was the day before that sailing.
  7. As mentioned above, some ships limit check in to app only.
  8. That should work but you need to let RCI/ship know you are arriving late.
  9. RCI might be able to confirm this - unless no one is allowed off the ship till the next day, immigration and arrival formalities should be scheduled shortly after arrival.
  10. That may change when you get on board. Don't equate RCI IT ineptitude with reality on the ship.
  11. Book a Freedom class or older ship where there’s no reservation for shows.
  12. Not on all ships - Vision is usually app only.
  13. Don’t use the RCI site for that.
  14. Cruise demand not seen impacted by new 'Honest Pricing Law' (seatrade-cruise.com) " Royal Caribbean International hasn't noticed any impact on sales since California's 'Honest Pricing Law' took effect July 1, CEO Michael Bayley said, and the US is expected to enact a similar statute. While the law applies only to businesses operating in California, most US-based cruise lines shifted to one nationally advertised price that bundles in government taxes, fees and port expenses. 'We believe that it will eventually become a national law, and since we operate all over the United States, we have decided to do it,' Bayley said aboard the new Utopia of the Seas. 'There's been no impact; the demand continues the way it was,' Bayley continued, adding: 'I personally think it's a better way of doing it. It's much simpler for people to understand. And as long as everybody is doing it, it's better for the consumer.'"
  15. The East Coast departure section may have good info on this. It will be a good reminder of Freedom for you - not much diff.
  16. Search a site like cruisedeckplans or Youtube for cabin reviews - even if not for that exact one, any near b Boardwalk on any O class ship should give you an idea.
  17. That (base fare) may be a bit harder to find now that the tax is no longer a separate line item.
  18. That is the booking system the TAs use.
  19. That is the "normal" speed on other "capped" ships - Jewel has had that high speed since the Starlink install over a year ago.
  20. A bit more info might help, like Seattle?
  21. Don't post about it on CC unless you have a thick skin.
  22. The RCI invoice lists the dining type - you'll have to get that to confirm.
