The Northstar is not highest point on Q class and very unlikely RCI would consider that one any other ship.

TAs and other special guests were on a special sailing on 7/16. The naming ceremony was the day before that sailing.

As mentioned above, some ships limit check in to app only.

That should work but you need to let RCI/ship know you are arriving late.

RCI might be able to confirm this - unless no one is allowed off the ship till the next day, immigration and arrival formalities should be scheduled shortly after arrival.

That may change when you get on board. Don't equate RCI IT ineptitude with reality on the ship.

Book a Freedom class or older ship where there’s no reservation for shows.

Not on all ships - Vision is usually app only.
