  1. I've frequently wondered about this alleged "crew fund" and being able to donate non refundable OBC. Hmm.
  2. Where does it say cocktails included?
  3. That's an interesting little twist that I haven't heard mentioned before.
  4. If you remember a few years ago there was a group of people, that were involved with a TA that was trying to manipulate the move up system and offer system by booking up desirable rooms and creating an environment where lucrative offers were made to some of those people. Eventually O caught on and some people were banned, all discussion of it was washed clean here on CC and Oceania revamped the move over, move up system. I might be a little off on some particulars, but that was the gist of it. You can thank people like that for the changes we've seen in final payment and penalties in the last 10 years or so.
  5. There's always the internet, just don't tell them.
  6. WE've never had an issue sharing a Happy Hour 2-1.
  7. I truly have got to the point of not wasting keystrokes trying to help some people. A. They don't want help. B. They really don't understand the system, and what's really sad is when they think they know something others don't. As you said, not worth further discussion.
  8. “Bad chemicals and bad ideas were the Yin and Yang of madness.” ― Kurt Vonnegut, Breakfast of Champions
  9. So this is what took effect Sept 1 2023. If what the OP is saying is correct then it's changed again since then? The O website shows the old information in the FAQ's pages.
  10. The time for the final payment has varied according to the length of the cruise for quite some time. I have 2 cruises that have a final payment 150 days out and 1 that is 90 days out. One is 11 days, one is 18 and one is 24. I do know that there were some changes recently, but not sure if it's still cruise length dependent.
  11. It's on the wine by the glass list so the answer should be yes.
  12. no, but you can get in suite dining from them every night if you choose. But a good butler can certainly get you extra reservations.
  13. So many good choices, hard to go wrong. A couple of my favorites in Toscana are Osso Bucco, Carbonara, and of course the lasagna, my wife tends to get the Dover Sole, or Fra Diavolo. Between us we've had most of the choices on the menu and pretty much like them all.
  14. From your signature you look like you have a lot of experience on Oceania, but I really haven't run into any situations like you described here on any of their ships.

    Taxi

Not only that but in my experience using Uber is much much better all the way around than a taxi. Nicer cars, nicer drivers, better prices, you know what you're paying upfront. We were forced to use a taxi recently when we had vouchers for them on a flight that was delayed overnight. On the way back to the airport the next morning they filled their van up, to the point of being uncomfortable, and collected vouchers from everyone. Just one voucher alone would pay for the ride. On top of that the van smelled bad and the driver was not friendly.
  16. Another bonus that T Mobile users have is free Wifi on certain airlines. I know I have it free on AA & I think Delta, I'm not sure of what all airlines we get it on. This is actually a nice perk. We also get free Netflix with it and that Text & Data pretty much all over the world is great. Biggest mistake I made was not switching to them sooner.
  17. Usually a discount off the price plus OBC to be used either on current cruise or the one you book for the future. Lower deposit, and move once. You can also buy a Future cruise certificate.
  18. I've been downtown in Bordeaux on Marina. It was an overnight stop.
  19. Yes, I was going to mention this is spot on as far as my experience has been. But she said it all.
