  1. I thought that was more about what time the cabin is available as opposed to when you can check in. I think upper suites have Priority Terminal Check in automatically, on did in the past.
  2. Does anyone know if the Priority Terminal check in is being honored currently as one of the Oceania Club perks? I know there's some people eligible for it that have cruised lately.
  3. I just did online check in for my Sept cruise and was able to pick 11. I don't think room category had anything to do with it.
  4. Must be one of those new Go Local tours. Seriously, I agree, that is over the line and unacceptable.
  5. Well, I like single malt scotches, generally get a double, that alone can be in the $40 range. One drink makes that up for me. And I will have more than one drink a day, not all scotches, but usually a double, with a premium alcohol.
  6. We've really enjoyed the times we've been to Barcelona, someday I wouldn't mind spending 2 or 3 days there. Hopefully you're onboard and getting settled in now. Or maybe at Martinis getting ready for dinner.
  7. Thanks for the info. You were able to book at 75 days, for our upcoming Regatta cruise (full ship) we booked at 45 days. Our experience was that out of an eight-day cruise there was 1 night, with one time, which was either 8:30 or 9pm available for alone. Even with sharing there was only one night with a 6:30 time slot, which we prefer. I think we took that one and another at 7:30. But it certainly wasn't on the days and times we wanted. So there definitely seems to be an advantage for booking a higher category on full cruises.
  8. Just got this email from Oceania. For those that like tubs it seems there are still some options. Dear Valued Guests and Travel Advisors, We would like to provide you with an important update on your cruise vacation that is scheduled to sail aboard Riviera. Recently, Oceania Cruises unveiled its plans to re-inspire Riviera by dramatically upgrading all of her guest accommodations and public spaces. All guest accommodations will be completely transformed and outfitted with all new furniture and furnishings, wall coverings, upholstery, lighting, technology, additional storage space, and new bathrooms. Based on feedback from guests, one of the major upgrades to the accommodations is that bathrooms in all category C Oceanview Staterooms, all category B1, B2, and B3 Veranda Staterooms, all category A1, A2, and A3 Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms, and all category PH1 and PH2 Penthouse Suites will now feature an oversized, walk-in rainforest shower with a built-in bench. The dramatically more spacious and functional walk-in shower was made possible by removing the under-utilized separate bathtub and small shower stall. These changes will take effect with the sailing beginning on December 7, 2022. The current bathtub and shower combination bathroom configuration will remain in place in category B4 Veranda Staterooms, category A4 Concierge Veranda Staterooms, and select category PH3 Penthouse Suites. Details on those specific accommodations are detailed below. The Oceania, Vista, and Owner’s Suites will all retain their current shower and bathtub, albeit in spectacularly re-inspired bathrooms. Penthouse Suites and Staterooms with the bathtub and shower: PH3: 9138, 9145, 10002, 10003, 10004, 10005, 10008, 10009, 10010, 10011 A4: 9002, 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, 9008, 9009, 9010, 9011, 9012, 9019, 9126, 9128, 9130, 9132, 9133, 9134, 9135, 9136, 9137, 9139, 9141, 9143 B4: 7010, 7011, 7012, 7014, 7015, 7016, 7017, 7018, 7019, 7020, 7021, 7022, 7023, 7024, 7025, 7026, 7027, 7028, 7029, 7031, 7102, 7104, 7105, 7106, 7107, 7109 Should you desire a stateroom or suite with the bathtub and shower combination, or if you are currently booked in one of the suites or staterooms listed above and prefer one of the new shower-only bathrooms, please do not hesitate to contact your Travel Advisor or Oceania Cruises to request a change. Thank you for taking note of this important change. We look forward to welcoming you aboard the better-than-new and dramatically re-inspired Riviera. Warmest regards, Carlos E. Ortega Vice President, Guest Services
  9. I'd say it was one of those situations Pinotlover was referencing.
  10. That was Aussie Gal that said 60 day window. I was curious about Sunlover12 as they said they have no issues getting the times and dates they wanted. Also didn't specify whether sharing or alone, always makes a difference in these things. If they are cruising in Oct it could be a Concierge or PH. Thanks for posting the chart. Always handy to have.
  11. You might show your Concierge this page. Looks like you're at Terminal A, but they're all right there together. Don't stress that part. Schedule | Barcelona (bcncruiseport.com)
  12. What category room are you in? That makes a world of difference.
  13. Ok, I was just curious if you had experience or had already made up your mind due to specifications and what others here say. I personally do prefer the O ships, but we're always fine on the R ships. You never know, you might be one of those that actually prefer them, once you've experienced them. You do know the bathtubs are going away on everything below PH? My wife prefers a tub also, but she'll be alright.
  14. Have you cruised on the R ships?
  15. Was that on the first night of the cruise?
  16. We had originally filled out the form, but after a few days of no contact decided to call. Got a cruise, not exactly our first choice, but they're all about the same in the MR, so we were ok with it. Sunday got a email that the cruise we originally selected on the form was confirmed. This was around 10-11 days since we sent it in. I checked wife's account on Celebrity and they have a courtesy hold on it. The hold is good until 8/31, which surprised me. We'll go ahead and let it run out. It's probably nothing to do with this, but prior to our last cruise we had pre purchased some casino credit with OBC for the extra 10%. Just wondering if any others had done that and might possibly be one of the triggers to be included in this offer. I know some people said they don't spend any in the casino. We did our flights with miles and a Hilton room with points, so far it's a pretty cheap cruise.
  17. There's a dock at Amalfi? Huh, I could sworn it was a tender port.
  18. If no one else answers I'll let you know in 4 or 5 weeks.
  19. Yes, spirits, but not wines. As I usually never have anything other than wine or beer with a meal I'd have to check this all out. I can't believe that I couldn't have a drink service waiter get me a Bailey's(which is on the Prestige Package) after the meal and it not be included. Now, what has always been the case is the special aged single malts in Polo, Sake in RG and other things here and there, are not part of the package. It would seem that if you just wanted a gin & tonic generic and had the Prestige there shouldn't be a charge anywhere on the ship if there's a bar open. Kinda negates the point of the package.
  20. Thanks for your continuing reporting. Loved this picture of David Bowie.
  21. This topic made me think of our upcoming situation. For those Platinum and up in the past, one of the perks was Priority Terminal Check-in. You didn't worry about what time your schedule said, you just showed up whenever you wanted. In the post covid environment does anyone know or have experienced whether this is being honored or not? Rob, I believe I've read that an arriving TA has a few more hoops to jump through on their initial embarkation in the US. Perhaps that's why things will be running late on that one.
  22. Was this wine on the By The Glass on the standard bar menu and available in the GDR or Terrace with the package?
