  1. No, specialty restaurants are not included in Aqua Class. You have to be in an upper level suite for it to be included. As far as calling in advance, not sure who you would call. Blu has several rows of 6 tables that are very close together. They could push them together for a large table but that many people would be disruptive to other diners. Best to talk to the Maitre D upon boarding.
  2. Get the Cobb salad with the lobster roll filling on it. That way you can both be happy.
  3. Yes, according to the app it is.
  4. Luminae has a Cobb salad with grilled chicken breast on the lunch menu. Depends on what menu they are featuring when you board.
  5. I don't think it was crazy and definitely not fun but I ask my butler to bring me a bag of ice twice a day. I was traveling with a broken bone in my foot, that I did not realize was broken at the time. I was drinking so didn't want to take the prescribed pain meds and opted to ice my foot and go with OTC. He was great about it and I tipped him above and beyond what I normally would have.
  6. We sailed in a CS on Summit and a RS on Millennium. I recommend the RS for the reasons cited by George C & Rich Yak. Having a separate shower and half bath are nice too. The balcony on the CS is not much compared to the RS balcony. Just long and narrow.
  7. We've never done it but I've seen signs at the taxi stands in Port Everglades about the cost, maybe $8,to go from pier to pier. You would have to take your luggage with you.
  8. We always follow up a phone call from the shoreside concierge with an e-mail and I take a copy with us. I only remember one cruise where one of the bigger items was missing. We had requested champagne in lieu of the 2 bottles of spirits and the ship thought we did not want the spirits and did not get the request for the champagne. It was quickly resolved.
  9. I think Hamilton and St. Georges banned most cruise ships even before Zenith quit sailing. I don't see RC or Celebrity building ships this small. The $$$ is in bigger and "better".
  10. We stayed in 2123 on 2 different S class ships and did not find the noise to be too bad. They are not moving carts around that area since it is just a dining area with no serving stations above.
  11. At one time, maybe around the time of the shutdown, the BOA Celebrity CC redemption was transferable. The paperwork from the redemption is kept in the CC account and with the transaction number you could call Celebrity and have it applied to a different sailing.
  12. Yes, it is long gone, which is a big miss in my mind.
  13. If I remember correctly, the wine pairing with the 5 senses is an additional fee on top of the fee for the 5 senses menu.
  14. We could never eat all this either and I don't think it is included with the RS and higher unlimited specialty dining. Just like the tasting menu in Eden and La Voges or the upcharge entrees in some specialty restaurants.
  15. The 5 senses menu is available every night. You dine with your party; it is not a group dinner. You order it when you are ordering from the server and pay the upcharge at the end of the meal. It does not include wine pairing but if you have a beverage package you can use it for your wine. Take a good look at both menu's. A lot of the 5 senses dishes, if not all, are available on the standard menu.
  16. Are you logging into your account and reservation first? There might be a move up link there.
  17. Yes, you will get premium beverage package and internet with a guaranteed suite booking.
  18. 2012 (no BP) and 2013 (BP) match with our on board spend for New Year's cruises.
  19. The last time I had a large on board purchase spend was the 2012 NY cruise, almost $3k mostly bottles of wine. On the 2013 NY cruise our on board spend was around $350. My best estimate is the change happened in 2012.
  20. Passport is needed for Panama and Colombia.
  21. Signature, royal, Villa, penthouse, reflection and iconic are the top suites. Only royal and penthouse are found on all ships. The others are dependent on the ship or ship class.
  22. We have not sailed out of Miami recently but when sailing out of Fll in an upper level suite we received a placard via email from the shoe side concierge. My understanding is that it is only for upper level suites. It was not part of the E-docs.
  23. I would love to see different cruises from Cape Liberty. Even though we flew when cruising from there it is also doable as a drive for us if needed.
  24. We had dinner in our suite, think it was a RS on S class, from Tuscan. The butler served the appetizer and wine, then came back and cleared the table and served the entrees, afterwards he brought dessert. This was pre covid and we only did it once.
