  1. How long should they hold them open if they are the only suites available? 90 days? 60 days? 30 days? 3 days? If they are not booked by final payment date they should be made available for booking.
  2. I thought these posts were over. Haven't seen one for a long time.
  3. This is what we are hoping for on Beyond Panama Canal next March. We've done longer cruises in March & April and very few children. One 7 day cruise years ago out of Baltimore was over run with unruly kids. A 7 day Bermuda cruise in very late August out of New Jersey had a lot of kids but they were well behaved.
  4. Celebrity still has lobster but if you want more than 1 you will pay for the additional unless you are in a suite or aqua class. Cabin attendant will do your cabin twice a day unless you opt for Go Green. Even then you would not notice the difference unless you are a slob. When you check in you will pick a boarding time which cuts down on the time you have to hang around. Your cabin will be ready for you to drop off carry ons when you arrive. There is now a charge for room service, unless you are in a suite or order a continental breakfast. Read through the boards to see other changes.
  5. Yes, your boarding time is now 1:30. Try again to see if you can get 11:00 back. Are you traveling with anyone and do they still have 11:00 check in? If so, you can board with your travel partner.
  6. Your boarding time is 11:00. You should get notification about 24 hours prior to complete the wellness check, which is only a few questions and can be done on the app. If you don;t do it before you get to the port they will ask the questions at checkin.
  7. If you decide not to take the Japan cruise, find another cruise you like and move the booking reservation. You should only forfeit the $100 PP change fee and receive the balance as a Future Cruise Credit to be applied to your new cruise. As others have said, it's too soon to book air, even through Flights By Celebrity and most hotels have rates that do not require prepayment and have the option to cancel within 48 hours or so.
  8. Silhouette for the Lawn Club Grill and the Porch.
  9. I wouldn't do it. In addition to the lack of quality sleeping arrangements, you have 4 women trying to use one bathroom, 1 mirror, small closet, etc. Better off to get 2 cabins.
  10. @*oceanlvr* size limits to carry on are the same as a carry on on a plane. Anything larger should be checked with the porters at the pier.
  11. I can't see how EMuster uses more staff. When everyone had to report to the muster station for the drill there were 4 or more crew members stationed in front of the elevators and stairs on every deck to direct the passengers to their station. This was in addition to the crew at the station checking off names and doing the demonstration. Now they only have to position crew at the stations to check off names and answer questions, if any.
  12. Here's the link, it isn't easy to find on the web site. Celebrity Cruises
  13. We don't need it cleaned twice a day but do want our bed made, wet towels replaced, etc. It's nice to come back to a turned down bed and clean bathroom after our pre dinner shower. Go Green works for us with evening cleaning.
  14. Celebrity was still doing twice a day service in January. They do offer a Go Green option if you only want cleaning once a day but they still come in twice a day to replace used towels, evening turndown, etc. If you opt in to Go Green you get an extra days captains club points. We didn't notice any difference is service.
  15. When you fill out the paperwork just indicate why you do not have to pay for luggage, frequent flyer, business class, etc. You will only be charged for the luggage valet fee, unless you are in a suite. They are strict about your flight time.
  16. Check out the thread about luggage valet being back. If it is a domestic flight you can have your luggage taken from the ship directly to the airport.
  17. Since the Caribbean season will be winding down soon I doubt we will see Luggage Valet anytime before the fall/winter season.
  18. We were on an 8 day cruise on Reflection over New Year. If ever an opportunity to see drunk and stupid this would be it. We did not see any objectionable behavior, including eating fried food.
  19. I have a generic tablet, Facetel Q3 pro and the app works fine on it.
  20. I just checked the app for the April 17 Edge cruise no menu's are showing up and the restaurants are not loading so I think it is an issue with Celebrity. Menu's for our Equinox cruise in August and Beyond next March are populating.
  21. We always send shirts and pants to the laundry. They come back pressed and hanging. I also send my capris, tops and even casual dresses. Much better job than I do at home.
  22. We had access on Edge but even though suites were at 100% capacity, there were only 900 passengers. We were in a PH. We did not ask about it on Reflection in January and it was not offered.
  23. If you booked a refundable fair there should be no change fee. If non refundable then $100 PP. Perhaps your TA is charging you the fee.
  24. We picked evening service because we shower before dinner. In the evening the bathroom and powder room and the bar area cleaned, trash emptied, fresh towels, full turndown service. In the morning hand towels and wash cloths were replaced. Sink area was wiped clean, trash emptied, bed made and curtains opened. We were not in the suite when it was cleaned but I know it was vacuumed and dusted sometime during the day/evening. Not sure about the bed being changed. This was on Reflection in a Royal Suite.
