Thanks to the several members who posted very helpful responses here & on the OTHER, similar thread. No problem with mine- I am all settled now. Sorry to others who are getting this cancellation notice so close to sailing.

Not clear on why that portion was not extended when all my other FCC were during the last 3 cancellations. I ended up with- 3 expiry dates: Dec31/22,April 30/23, Sept 30/23. last time I spoke to agent at Princess she said the Dec31/22 FCC were non refundable ones. - no problem- applying to Oct.22 cruise now.

Do you expect those FCC will be extended?

This non refundable FCC used expires Dec31/22- expires if not used, so this is a way to get it extended? Most of my FCC expire Sept 30/23, , except for this one. thanks

Not what I am asking. I paid for cruise with $750 FCC that expires Dec 31/22.

You can easily take a taxi from airport to pier-30-40 minutes, not expensive. We did in May.

If 1/2 cruise paid with FCC that has a December 31/22 expiry date- how is that handled? Will they extend FCC to December 31/23?

Yes, a proctored antigen will do 2 days prior. remember( at this time) to complete ArriveCAN.

You can still bring on a few cans of soda when you embark. Can soda package includes tax/ gratuities I think.must pre order the bottle water.

Have received credits for missed ports for cruises; and only once years ago a fuel surcharge, for a flight back in the early 1980’s.

I may be better off leaving things for now: -paid lowest flexible fare to Princess EZAir -paid $12.50 US x 4 to airline for seat selection early -carry on only- so no baggage fee airline changed aircraft- cancelled departure -rebooked us automatically on earlier flight we preferred -assigned window & middle vs window & aisle requested seats -refunded $12.50 for one seat only -I moved from middle seat to aisle seat on app -This is now in the Comfort seat row - to book comfort seats extra cost would be $22 pp US I check in airline app a couple of times a day- so will catch it if seats disappear. thanks for input everyone. -my next battle is trying to get my $5 k back from Air Canada Vacations for my September trip to Bermuda they cancelled!!!

I've used taxi & uber from LGA. Staying 1 night before cruise -booking hotel when flight lands-to avoid cancellation penalties hotels are charging now. Lots of changes in flights this season so rather go a day early. At end of cruise- tour package is for flights leaving after 5 pm, so that lets us out.. We will take our time disembarking & taxi/uber to LGA. (last time-we had to wait for more taxis to arrive-as we were last to disembark.)

I got a nice price drop on cruise just before final payment. I will call Princess but, not expecting any adjustment on air now. Lesson learned- no more early ticketing for me.

84 days- Toronto to NYC. if ticketed, seat selected , I can’t get price drop, right? I am able to get better seats in airline app- they put one of us in middle seat.

My EZAir flight to NYC was a great fare when I booked flexible rate. I wanted to select seats early, so paid airline to do that,( was not available to do through EZAir.) Flight was then changed by airline, different seats assigned. One seat payment has been refunded. Today EZAir is offering my flight for $120 pp less. Airline App still has us in newly assigned seats. No more early ticketing for me.

In the personalizer click on Travel- that is where transfer is offered. If not agent will have to do it for you. also they may have cut back what they offer. we have also taken the coach on our own. One leaves from LHR & another leaves from Victoria Coach Station. These are cheaper then princess coach, and go to bus station in Southampton. Princess coach takes you & your luggage directly to ship. $76.11 CAD pp I did a mock booking & see the transfer I mentioned.

and another Princess email ended up in my Trash folder! ODD, again!

I used my FCC for transfers, EZ Air flights, PVP - insurance, upgrade to plus package & upgrade cabin. I had expiry of Sept 30/23 for most of my FCC, except for $375 FCC which had to be used by December 31/22.
