You just heard about this?! i knew this weeks ago from when Russia invaded Ukraine. NCL changed Getaway's summer intinery early April, i think. NCL canceled all Russia cruises and is bringing the Getaway back to USA starting June. The transatlantic from Copenhagen to NY is CHEAP! (but it's only 1 port, ponta Delgada, Portugal and a whole bunch of sea days) Shocked people are discovering this now. Also shocked that ncl is telling people now since they knew months ahead of time!

all ships have a craps table. now the question is do they have the dealers to man that table? post-restart, there have been reports on some ships that the craps table has been closed all cruise long because they dont have qualified craps dealers. (vacation, quarantined because close contact covid, etc) also post-restart, they lowered the odds. it used to be $10min 3/4/5x odds. now it's 2x odds unless you bet $25 passline/don't pass to get 3/4/5x odds. 😞

no idea about the horrible paytables on single line but multiline, it's been that way (~96% return) since i've been cruising with Celebrity in 2019.

i think a lot of people don't know the return.

that is true. but i cant believe an upper class cruise line like Celebrity is using these rip off paytables. I would expect it from cheaply viewed bottom barrel cruise lines like Margaretville cruises. (if they have a casino.)

it doesnt matter. they are allowing their sub-contractor to fleece their passengers

(Single line) It's the same paytable not matter .25 all the way to $5 denomination. for Jacks for Better, it's a dismal 91.1% return (8.9% casino profit). 😮 For Deuces Wild, it's at 91.4% return (8.6% casino profit)! 😮 That's really horrible for VP. I've only seen these paytables in casinos located in some 3rd world countries. You know it's bad when betting a number on Roulette is better! (94.3% return or 5.7% casino profit) Now on multi-line VP, JoB is slightly better with 6/5 paytable which is 95% return and DW is 96% return. It is still garbage compared to NCL. (At $5 denom, you can get 99% return.)

NCL spa has a spa pool! is there anything else about ncl spa that's better than Celebrity spa?

(Male in aqua class) I tried the heated tile loungers for the 1st time ever. They are uncomfortable no matter how much I try to adjust. No lower back support. Why are they so sought after?? Or what an I doing wrong?

I was on the gem in Jan 2022. Back then the lobster thermidor was only +$10 extra and the lobster claws were on top. (1st pic) In Feb on the Getaway, the price increased to +$25 extra and no lobster claws. Now in currently on the Gem: +$25 extra and no lobster claws. 😞 (2nd pic) Still delicious and a good choice for excess obc.

(Equinox 2021) I always think of the chopped beef in the Sirloin steak tv dinners. (aka re-labeled meatloaf aka fancy name for hamburger) This the same?
