  1. Print your Travel Summary, look under "ONBOARD CREDITS FOR THIS BOOKING" We had some of those never show up under Payments and Credits in Personalizer but did show up on our Travel Summary.
  2. I thought I heard that if they had different booking numbers, each Elite could get a Mini Bar.
  3. If you are adventurous, the CC Mini's on Marina and Lido forward have awesome.balconies.
  4. Yep, they use Club Fusion if there are loads of Plats and Elites aboard.
  5. Just off Sapphire, upgraded Plus to Premier. 15 days @ $750 for 2. Always drank Rombauer Chard at $18 / glass, even delivered to stateroom several times per day. Asked Bar Manager to stage it at Churchills for Casino and Santa Fe DR. Otherwise it was "go to Vines and get it, please" -- plus won $400 on Prizes so the package paid for itself.
  6. On Grand class, Owners Suites and Grand Suites have 4 or 6 place dining tables . Grand Suite on Star. CB, Diamond and Sapphire are similar.
  7. I just noticed that Captain Lye has a middle initial that could be read as Captain B. Lye Was the Emerald also known as the Bounty? Sorry if this is a duplicate.
  8. Thanks for the heads up. We also board Thursday and ordered KN95s to wear figuring COVID cases were present. Amazed the Captain actually announced the situation.
  9. We did one called Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer (actually in Endicot since Tracy was still frozen over) in 2017. It was only done on some itineraries from Seattle that have later arrival into Juneau where the tour boat returns you directly to the ship. It was $377.92 for 2. ETA: we loved it.
  10. He is the best - he works all the rooms so you'll see him soon!
  11. Great thread thank you! I did think I recognized your DRO Rui, but when I knew him his last name was different: Might be an interesting story there... He is the best Maître d' we've had on Princess!
  12. I won $150 on the Grand Princess this past April playing 3 paper cards. Only time I played. I guess I'm weird that I enjoyed the corny jokes, but FL was a lot over the top for me otherwise.
  13. Seems like what you'd want to do is move you and DH to the other (3-4 person) cabin with the teen, and the 2 adults to yours. TA might be able to do that without a cancel and re-book - but even then it should just work unless you have perks you might lose. Once on the ship you can re-arrange everybody, or just add you all to each cabin, at Guest Services
  14. I think most any Thermal Suite any where else would be "meh" compared to that! Even the newest Royal class Enclave. I've been on Royal Princess and the newest HAL ships and those TS are better than Emerald but would still be "meh" compared to that.
  15. Emerald's Thermal Suite has heated loungers, goofy "Rain showers", a regular shower, an accessible restroom, Gentle Sauna, Gentle Steam, and Aromatherapy steam rooms. It is one deck down stairs below the Lotus Spa pool. Access is via the Lotus Spa only. There is a wheelchair lift. Same setup for Crown and Ruby. Free Sauna and Steam rooms were in the gender specific changing rooms - it has been reported that those were removed.
  16. While in port or close enough - you may have to pay state/local tax.
  17. So I ordered a drink whilst in our stateroom, then proceeded to Lido to get a snack figuring the drink would soon come to stateroom. Phone rang in stateroom: "Are you on Lido?" "No, I'm in my stateroom where you called me." "Oh we show you on Lido, I'll be right down." There is a choice in the app that looks awfully alike: My Location (Stateroom) or My Location (Where I am at the moment). The latter is the default.
  18. She may have made her point later!
  19. Close! it does start with a "C"
  20. Our first cruise, at last night dinner, a buxom lady had taped all the bills in her tip together end to end, rolled them up and put the roll in her bra. Waiters had to pull their tip out. Talk about feeling uncomfortable... Guess the cruise line.
  21. Only Royal class ships have the "Wine Cellar" and WM Dinner.
  22. The Plus package covers the 18% service charge on drinks. The $12 limit is before the 18% Crew Appreciation is the daily gratuity for stewards and other crew.
  23. Yes and it is not "by invitation only" more like first come. There are 2 venues - one in each of the midship dining rooms labeled Wine Cellar on deck plans. Likewise let your Head Waiter or the DRO know you want to do the WM dinner.
  24. We really enjoyed the Winemaker's Dinner on Royal when we didn't get invited to Chef's Table Lumiere.
