  1. We were onboard Navigator from Amsterdam to Barcelona, far too short, we were sad to leave.  
    Our experience was different from the OP.  We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, staff were excellent, meeting some known faces to us and meeting new staff.  Didn’t have any issues with our meals in the 3 evening venues, but to be fair we always mentioned that we like a slower paced dinner which worked well for us.  This was every bit as good as all our previous Regent cruises.   Jean.

  2. Agreeing what a delightful itinerary this is . We have enjoyed lovely weather in the ports . Lisbon today has really been a treat .

    We are finding that service and food have been excellent. It will be sad to leave in Barcelona. 
    I had a mishap today with my prescription sunglasses  😎. I always travel with 2 pairs thankfully. At lunchtime my husband mentioned to Donald up in Leveranda who suggested speak to reception . Within an hour he had arranged that Raphael from maintenance check the damage and he duly repaired them . Just another incidence where Regebt and their wonderful staff go above and beyond to deliver that very unique service . Jean

  3. As the lovely mdunne and his delightful wife mentioned we are also onboard.  We had a rather lengthy travel to Amsterdam due to unforeseen circumstances at the airport runway. BA really looked after us arranging an alternative carrier for the onward connection to Amsterdam and our wonderful TA and superb Regent team arranged a late arrival private transfer to the Sofitel as mentioned.

    onboard.  Excellent service as usual. I saw some of the transit from the port early this morning. Sea day relaxing and lots of new ports ahead for us.

    Life is good on the Navigator. 

    Ps we sent our luggage ahead to the hotel . Highly recommend this service. This was first time we have done this and it was mainly due to the concerns recently of missing luggage but definitely found this to be  great service

  4. Techno thanks for mentioning the apple itags . We are looking into them as I type . My husband has a BA bag locator he was given few years ago when working abroad, and our TA has some sort of bag locator tags now that she will issue to us. Anything to give a bit of reassurance while travelling in the current climate .

  5. Bill fully understand your post. We have our first cruise post lockdown next month , long time since Mariner may 2019.  Absolutely it’s a concern to flights to travel to baggage and we wouldn’t be honest if we didn’t have worries about it now. The chilled 🥂🍾on flights and lounge I hope will keep me from panic mode until we arrive with 🧳🧳🧳 in tow . Regards Jean.
