  1. I don't know what T-Mobile plan you have, but mine includes free service in Mexico, including calls.
  2. When I watched it, I was glad I saw the storm sitting at home inside. At one point, it got really dark , and soon after we had a pretty good gust of wind. It was like a wow moment. I had turned the TV on to a local channel, and they were covering it , showing it on their weather radar. Of course, we had all the warnings, both on the phone and TV, and emails from the county.
  3. We fly Delta, and we have been able to fly first class fairly cheaply if we select the correct flights. I suspect many businesses have resisted paying the nose bleed prices for their employees to fly first, and those employees won't pay the difference.
  4. Here is a video posted online from our tornado. https://www.wunderground.com/video/top-stories/cars-flipped-over-tornado-damages-florida-towns
  5. After our front passed through, we has a lot of strong west wind. Airport was measuring 27, but I don't know if that was gusts or sustained.
  6. None reported today. Yesterday was unusually strong EF2, winds 130 MPH. National weather service examines the damage and estimates the strength. Bunch of property damage, but no injuries. Roofs ripped off, cars flipped over. No damage in our neighborhood.
  7. Having a lot of weather today. Had a tornado touch down in Palm Beach Gardens, less than a mile from our home yesterday afternoon. And now, we are under a tornado warning again, And the rains are here now, but it is not as dark as it was yesterday.
  8. Is this the fix for the phone losing WiFi as you move from one router to another?
  9. I'm not sure the Voom guy knows how Voom works. They never impressed me with any knowledge , other than setting up wifi on a cell phone. One time, pre Voom, I had while in Cozumel , I couldn't use the internet in my room. Turns out, another RCI ship was on the other side of the dock, and his wifi signal was stronger than what I was getting, so I had connected to him, and of course, it did not recognize me, do it wouldn't let me in.
  10. I went to YouTube and watched a bunch of this guys videos. I guess you had to to pick out some of the tamer ones, but the other ones were pretty funny also.
  11. You can ask for wheelchair assistance when you meet on turnaround day.
  12. @A&L_Ont I saw a 77 F250 4wd on Restoration Garage on Motor Trend channel, and thought of your truck. I wondered if it was yours. They really only showed a small segment about it . It was season 6, episode 10.
  13. My wife was the one who insisted I do the wheelchair thing. Said I was too slow walking, the pusher walks at the same speed as she does. Also, when we do through security, they take a lot of time inspecting it.
  14. We request assistance for the entire trip. I do this when making the reservation. They will have chairs in the jetway when you land, and if connecting, get you to the next gate. We do tip the person helping you.
  15. A quick note, when flying, I initially used gate check, but they tended to be rough on it, knocking bits off. Now I check it with the luggage, and get wheelchair assistance to the gate. They seem to take better care of it that way.
  16. I recently cruised on Vision's sister, Grandeur for the first time. having been on Harmony just 2 weeks before, and we liked it so much that we have another cooked next winter. WE are usually balcony cruisers but we are sailing in an ocean view on this ship. Never thought that we would like this size, but we gave it a shot. This means we have cruised on every class of RCI ships, except the first generation Q class. One of the attractions of the smaller ships is they can do longer cruises.
  17. I thought that the watch had a Bluetooth connection to the phone to function.
  18. Just checked the local news , NWS reported Ft Lauderdale had 25 inches in 6 hours. Incredible. Back before we got moved to Ct, we lived in an area call Jupiter Farms, we had a storm the started at 12:00 noon Sunday and didn't stop till 6:00 PM Monday. We got 23 inches in 30 hours, and it rained hard the entire time. This rain had that look like an afternoon shower.
