  1. FYI, the new SS Nova is going Lisbon to NYC in November....
  2. Where do you find this information? I was thinking it was more a problem of a securing the ports. I know there have been recent problems and limits set in Alaska for one thing. I guess I don't think I'm paying a premium, just an all inclusive price (gratuities, drinks, spa, port tax, etc). The 1st cruise I booked with EJ was the same price as one I had reserved with a similar itinerary and cabin (club balcony) on NCL Viva. Also, new ships seems to always be higher priced than older ones.
  3. There are adults only cruises and even cruise lines, but they all advertise themselves that way. If it doesn't say adults only, it's not. You need to tell your TA or booking agent, in advance, that you only want adults only cruises. https://explorajourneys.com/us/en/life-on-explora/multi-generational-journeys?utm_source=sfmc&utm_term=Multigen_CTA_US&utm_content=229875&utm_id=22d3fda1-afe5-4460-8d0b-82565653be7b&sfmc_activityid=2cbe177b-a442-49a9-a7cf-2ee50ff61b1b&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=B2C_NL_ED_11052023_ENG_INT_US_UK_Multigen
  4. There are several online TA sites that have real time cabin availability for most all lines and ships.
  5. Does a travel agent help with Silversea or better to book direct? There is no reason to pick one in advance, get information from both then decide.
  6. I have my first SS cruise coming up and embarkation, as described here, sounds great. Is disembarkation similar?
  7. New video (with some previous views in it)
  8. Summer of 2024 cruises dates are available through some online TA's. Not showing yet on Explora site.

  10. I posted that, but agree with your interpretation of 15% of total. I got the 3.75% from 15% of the 25% deposit.
  11. Interesting, I didn't interpret it that way
  12. Got it, but with regular P2P you only have to put down a 25% deposit, and when you cancel you lose 15% of the deposit (so 3.75% of the cruise price). Which cruise is it?
  13. I think some people on this thread think you had a P2P fare, and don't realize you actually had a P2P prepaid fare that included an additional 15, 20, or 25% discount for paying upfront with no refunds. Many deal with TA's and aren't aware of that pricing option.
  14. So now your P2P prepaid with the prepaid discount is ~1k/pp more then current p2p prepaid offer? I can see why you are upset. Have the increased the prepay discount?
  15. Wow, did you prepay and get a prepay discount?
  16. Sorry, just to be clear, are you saying you booked P2P directly with SS, and, now, the P2P price with SS is less than what you paid?
  17. I have asked this in several threads too, but no one answered....I love a warm pool on a cool day.
  18. I know, right? With Nova and the push to go green though, they may get rid off single use (take home) plastic bottles in the near future.
  19. Silverseas agent just confirmed you can disembark on the first or second day (11/17 or 11/18 in NYC)
  20. I'm on a cruise the docks in NYC the morning of the day before disembarkation. Do think you can disembark (as a walk off) whenever you want on that first day? Thanks
  21. Everything looks just like imaging had represented it to be.
  22. So if you booked an excursion during your cruise would your OBC get used? (I want to book ahead, but just wondering)
  23. I had problems too and tried different computers and browsers with know luck. I called them about a month ago and in less than an hour my account was working perfectly and continues to do so.
