  1. Thanks, that's what I thought...
  2. I can't find anything, just your estimate would be appreciated....
  3. So, how long are the pools you are referring to?
  4. So you think there is a pool long enough to swim lengths? I really hope your right, but I have never been on a ship with a pool long enough to actually swim. The sliding roof pool maybe OK, but it looks like one end has stairs the whole width.

The higher the price of the cruise, the bigger the commission.
  6. Hope the TAs will follow the dress code and not hog the pool chairs
  7. Explora cost 600M USD for 461 cabins, where the new Silversea Nova, also just delivered, cost 205M for 363 cabins. i.e 1.3M per cabin compared to 565K per cabin. Should be pretty nice!
  8. It doesn't seem the problem was with the shipyard.
  9. Yeah, you're right. What was I thinking? Lift and shift is way different than cancelling and rebooking, and a way more common description.
  10. Right, but you would cancel the one you have and rebook. MSC actually rebooked this one for, and it is showing in my MSC account.
  11. My 5/5/2024 (4nt Seashore from Port Canaveral) was changed to 6/10/2024 which doesn't work for me so I requested cancellation.
  12. Even if you find a cruise for 1, sometimes the higher level cabin selections show sold out. I wanted to try the YC, and did find/book one that took a single in a YC, but it's next May.
  13. I don't think they are all the same; sapphire reserve is 10k pp. The upside is not paying for cancellation ins.
  14. If you have (and pd for you cruise with) a premium CC, the trip cancellation/interruption/medical/lost bag insurance is pretty good. I use Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex Hilton Aspire.
  15. they are (mostly) all like this including 16019
  16. Every P2P SS cruise I have checked offers only Verandah Suites (and below).
  17. You should start off by going to youtube and searching Silversea.
  18. Maybe day, month, year not month, day, year????
  19. I'm going on my first SS and my first TA cruise this Nov on Nova, and then will decide.
  20. My SS agent said "it's a glich in the system". The cruise I was looking at is now back to the old way
  21. I noticed that too, when checking a P2P 2024 trip today (on US website) (Silver Ray 12/4/24 LIS-FLL).
  22. I had mine booked and before too, but EJ agent applied later. I think you had to have an existing reservation in order to apply the promotion.
  23. In late January through February, EJ was offering a 2 Category upgrade (not including residences) plus 500 OBC to MSC Diamonds. This was at the same time MSC was offering a Diamond status match with other elite status loyalty programs (and not just cruise programs).
