The bus is a quick and cheap way to get into town. They run very frequently along the road outside the port. As you exit the port you are on the correct side of the road going into town. They are marked Centro. Fare is 10pesos pp e/way. That is $0.56c! Cab drivers wanted $5pp e/way On the return get in a bus that is going to Walmart. This is opposite the port gates. Info correct as of May 3,2023

Define a RCI “sale” price?! I book on line. My price paid may end up cheaper than onboard price due to fx fluctuations… that’s not my problem. On the other hand RCI have had my money for that restaurant booking for 6 months so they are in credit!

You download the app, set up an account t and register a credit card. Use one that doesn’t charge fx fees like Monzo or Chase. Then when you want a ride; you just go into the app and select your from/to… and someone appears within minutes!! I love it! We don’t have it in our part of England either. I recently discovered you can reserved a driver for future dates… we actually had one booked for 9:10a for $44, but when we heard of the passport delays we cancelled him ( you are charged if you are not there within 5 mins).. thank goodness we did as we didn’t get out till 9.30a. We booked another driver who was there within minutes and it cost $36.90!!! And when you get your confirmation on completing the ride, you can add a tip and a rating! LB who is 5*!

Our disembark experience was terrible. We left breakfast in Chops around 8:30 and were amazed to see so many people on board. Every seat was take in the Schooner bar and around the atrium. We got off around 8;45. There seemed to be a big delay with luggage coming off so we stood and waited in a long line ( no priority for non USA/ Pinnacle's… we tried!). Eventually collected cases then another life line for passports.. they only had 4 passport people on duty … we eventually got out of the terminal at 9:30. It was very poorly handled with no announcements by RCI as to what the issues were

Went to pay off our onboard account . It was $20.02. Not sure where the random .02c came from?! We had left $10 tip for each BOGO free dinner and then the .02c appeared on the account a few days later! One place I don’t thing Twangster has been or mentioned is the sauna/solarium in the Spa loos - not sure anyone knows they are there ( and free to use) but the steam room has always been empty when I’ve been. Lovely and hot 🥵 too! Meanwhile in the solarium…

DH will be having his final Kummelweck and I’ve been eating those delicious egg sandwiches in the Solarium almost every day too. 33 British- I’ve only spoken with 8 whenever I overhear the accent! Wonder where the others have been hanging out?
