  1. Thanks all! We will try for the first night so we can try the filet mignon.
  2. I am sailing in a JS in February and will have access to Coastal Kitchen for dinner. I often see a lot of people posting how amazing CK food is, however when I look at the menu (below) it just seems so basic and not much to get excited about. Rigatoni? Cauliflower steak? đŸ„± Does the menu vary at all or is this it?
  3. We still do a daily pilgrimage to the MDR to see what’s for dinner. It’s more fun that way.
  4. Where in the app do I find the Northstar extended to purchase? Or do I have to go online to the online cruise planner?
  5. Also take advantage of the non-alcoholic premium items like Sparkling water, premium bottled water like Evian, Vitamin Waters, Red Bull Energy Drinks, iced teas, etc.
  6. We like to start our morning in there with a nice coffee or mimosa and some pastries and then have a proper breakfast later. It’s such a quiet space so it’s very calm and peaceful.
  7. Yes I believe even through the public site that the hold would lock in the rate you chose and the specific cabin you are holding.
  8. https://www.celebritycorporatekit.com/individual-incentives/gift-cards/ That’s probably the best info you’re going to find. There is a number to call if you have questions too.
  9. Usually I think it’s reserved for crew use outside of the normal guest operating hours, so they probably will have it closed off to guests.
  10. They still are on M and S class ships. Also, if you ask for a large glass on E class ship they will give you it.
  11. Cabin changes within the same category will not trigger a re-price FYI.
  12. Yes it’s already posted. Extra OBC. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Special_Offers/CEL_09_07_23_August_Offer-Consumer.pdf
  13. Yep, it will be a race to the bottom to see which mainstream cruise line tries it first. My guess would be MSC or Carnival will try it first.
  14. Yep, same for me. But there are tons of people who don’t know any different (or care). Ex: new cruisers, short weekend cruisers, or those simply looking for the cheapest vacation.
  15. In the next 5 years, I fully expect some cruise line to do a trial of making the MDR have a cover charge per person and transition to having the buffet be the complimentary dinner option.
  16. Summit 2025 itineraries are slowly starting to load into the system. There are some 9 night ones loaded in for Feb and March.
  17. Martini bar and grand plaza are not quiet areas at all on the edge class for evening drinks. Definitely suggest Eden or The Club.
  18. Right, but some people have reported getting assigned a room with 1-2 days of booking the guarantee room. So if in that scenario there are no sky suites, then wouldn’t the system assign one of those higher suites?
  19. I am looking at a cruise that has one guarantee suite left (Edge Class) and the only suite categories currently available are Edge Villa, Penthouse, and Iconic Suites. How quickly have they been assigning cabins lately? Do I have a good shot at getting one the mentioned suites if I book the guarantee? Or will they just hold out and wait for a sky suite person to cancel and then stick me into that?
  20. Chair hogs at the pool will start auctioning off their spots to the highest bidder to help recoup some of their increased costs. đŸ€Ł
  21. I wouldn’t consider them “try-out” cruises. These are publicly offered cruises for sale and are expected to be operated just like any other cruise. A lot of the staff will likely be coming from other Edge class ships and should be some of the best of the best. I wouldn’t expect too many hiccups on these. You might get some type of souvenir for the “inaugural season”.
