  1. How about a response that doesn't mention their home country or the Philippines?
  2. An awful lot of people make terrible choices and others often suffer because of them.
  3. So, will you be applying for a job as a dishwasher since they are paid so well, according to you?
  4. It’s all a matter of personal taste and opinion. We were on the same cruise and found the menu to be the standard, predictable fare. The short ribs and lobster were delicious and service was excellent, What was far more troubling were the long lines to get into the dining room for MTD. This seems to be the new norm fleetwide.
  5. Kids don't depend on tips for their livelihood. I'm guessing you remove auto tips no matter the level of service.

  12. Wrong. The company simply collects it then distributes it to the staff,
  13. I doubt you know why folks are on line at Guest Services. While at the counter, I have never heard anyone next to me ask to remove tips.
  14. Staying up after midnight on the last night just to get more free drinks? Um, I don't think so.
  15. ha! I graduated from Stuyvesant in 1962 which means we attended JHS 10 at the same time. Played intramural softball and basketball at JHS 10.
  16. Of course, that was my local high school, although I went to Stuyvesant in Manhattan. Also PS 70 and JHS 10. Can I assume you were raised in Astoria?
  17. The way not to worry about tipping is to leave the gratuities in place, not to be, as you suggest, a cheapskate.
  18. Not saying It brings "security." Certainly not. Just saying I feel safer on a ship of vaccinated folks rather than on a ship of unvaccinated.
  19. I assume you reported it. Are you saying they did nothing after it was reported?
