I agree with Sc. Pi. It was the best money we spent. The porter whisked us past all the people that were waiting for taxis, Ubers and Lyfts. Being dropped off in the aforementioned bus check-in was great. However, the long walk to security was a PITA because the closer one was closed off for some reason. This was in early November. Not sure if it has reopened. We went to Guest Services. Our only problem was they forgot to print out the voucher and we had a slight problem with the RCI rep that was near the buses and I had trouble trying to bring it up on my phone. After a couple of minutes, the driver said to the rep to just let us board. I would go to GS within the first couple of days after boarding to make sure you can sign up before they reach capacity.

I sure hope you meant 2022 otherwise I missed the Bella Cruise and the chance of meeting a whole bunch of new friends. LOL

Nope. Ours is actually the base unit for the 3 cordless handsets that are throughout the house. 1 in the office, 1 in the family room and 1 on the headboard in the bedroom.

Our friends cabin was leaking water from their balcony. The water was coming underneath the door jam. Did your friends report this to Guest Services and/or the Maintenance Department ? We had water coming from the top of the sliding doors and just wanted to let them know. After looking at it, they said they would put some sealant around it after the rain had stopped. I was satisfied with their response and didn't think about it anymore. Two days later we got an "Apology for the Inconvenience" letter from GS with a $100.00 on board credit. It was totally unexpected but appreciated. I promptly headed right to the Casino and donated it back to Princess's coffers by way of the Slot Machines.😂🤣😀

Your arrival time should be just about perfect. I'm trying to remember if you've made it to at least Platinum if not Elite. If you are, look for those signs around the terminal. I did that excursion twice. The first time, the Captain let me up on the bridge and the next thing I know, I'm piloting the boat through the Locks and then completely across Gatun Lake including the other 2 Locks. He handled propulsion while guiding me with the navigation. It was a blast. It took Amelia almost an hour to find me and she just about flipped. So the Captain had her come up also and then she wasn't so mad LOL. The second time I went, he recognized me right away and immediately had me come up to the bridge and I had the whole experience all over again.

If it came to that, Bradley Airport in Hartford is only a 2 hour ride from Boston. We are getting strictly rain for this entire storm. To bad you aren't going through the Original Locks. It's amazing to see what they did over a hundred years ago with the equipment they had back then. Definitely an engineering marvel.

Good morning Tiff. I've been watching the radar here in the northeast and it looks like DD is getting pummeled by a lot of wind and rain. Has she said if it's supposed to turn to snow and if so, has she got a backup plan if the airport gets messed up??

How True. Unfortunately, since my cruising money comes from snow plowing, I can't cruise between December and mid-to-late March. We've done the Full Transit (Left Coast to Right Coast) once and the Partial Transit twice. All those however, were through the Original Locks. Some day we'll go for the New Ones. You are going to want to move about the ship as much as possible while transiting the Locks. Besides observing things from the outside, go down to the Good Spirits at Sea Bar next to the International Cafe and watch out the windows as you are changing elevations in the Locks. It's kinda neat as the land around you appears or disappears. HAPPY CRUISING ! ! ! !
