After holding for two and one half hours for someone to speak to me on the Blue Chip line, I was told that the cost to upgrade from veranda to aqua class on the Blue Chip promo cruise would be over $2000. I declined. I don't know why others were offered upgrade for 10-20 $ per day to Aqua class. I have always played in Celebrity's casinos, so being a non player would not be an answer, There are also many Aqua class cabins available on my sailing

I don't know if Canadarocks is still interested in an answer about Glittering SAnds Beach, as it has been awhile since that post, but I have been to Glittering SAnds Beach, as a shore excursion off of a ship. It is probably just set up for ship excursions. It is a fairly short bus ride to a very private beach, which has been set up with chairs and a make shift food buffet and tables. The beach and water were nice, although quite rough when I was there. The people serving the the food and drinks were very unfriendly. The food was sparse and not very good.

So, Yes, you should be able to take a guest to Aquilina for no extra charge. I sailed in my own cabin and a friend was in a suite and she was able to have me join her in specialty restuarants for no charge

I went to Palm Court Gardens last year when my ship docked there. It was very nice. I walked there through town. It was a doable walk. I had a pass for the day and there was hardly anyone else there with me. Very relaxing . There is a pool bar for purchase of drinks and food. The gardens are small but pretty. You have a great view of the harbor and your ship. The pool was very nice.Comfortable cushioned lounge chairs.

I am also unclear on the Covid 19 vaccine policy.. In the past I had read that the booster had to be done no more than 270 days prior to sailing. Mine was done 231 days ago, and I may not be eligible in the USA for a second booster. Does this mean I cannot sail?
