  1. CKS Sydney airport hotel shows a double king room for $152 (Booking.com) for Dec 26. They run a shuttle to the airport. I've stayed there many times pre international flights,
  2. Close enough. Panamax was the intended hint. We are approaching the canal (and in the queue) after overnight from Cartagena to Colon. The new canal was supposed to have been finished by the time we went through in 2015 but it wasn't. Your turn.
  3. Time for another hint. It is X Infinity. What class of vessel is it?
  4. Not Phu My and not Milly but it is X.
  5. Another pic (clue). This photo was taken at the same time as the previous one and almost an hour before the first one.
  6. Thank you. It's a long drive across and I've only done it once - by coach - return. Once was enough. Next pic. Bonus point for the ship.
  7. Balladonia Roadhouse WA, start/finish of Australia's longest, straight stretch of road?
  8. You are correct. Well done. Your turn.
  9. I've cruised on both and, as I don't hang out in bars or use upmarket (pay for) reastaurants, I can't tell much difference except for the smaller size of Noordam. I'm more likely to be swayed by the itinerary than size.
  10. I think you meant civet cat or, more correctly, Kopi luwak. Each time I visit Indonesia I buy kopi luwak. It's not cheap but it's one of the best coffees to be found. I also bring home larger packets of Indonesian Arabica and Robusta. Taste is better than any ship coffee I've had.
  11. @Blackduck59I tried Grolsch on my first HAL cruise and saved the bottles for a friend who does home brewing. If my friend didn't want the bottles, Grolsch would not be my cruisebeer of choice. I also avoid the US brands which, to me, are fairly bland. Lyle, I'll put a few bottles of Tooheys OId in the fridge for when you arrive. I think they have draught Guiness at my local yacht club.
  12. Thank you. Next pic. A bonus point for correct spelling.
