  1. It's a tiny town in the Barcoo IIRC. There is a full size replica Stonehenge in Esperance WA. It's well worth a look if you ship ports there.
  2. With appropriate number plates too.
  3. You are correct. Just outside Carcross in Yukon Territory, Canada. Your turn.
  4. There is also Visa info in the quoted thread, somewhere about Dec 2022.
  5. See Post #8 . I did this tour and it was excellent. You can visit Komodo private or ship's tour. Private tours can only be done with Indonesian government tour operators. You cannot go ashore if you have not booked a tour.
  6. Correct. Your turn. The stone cairn is a memorial to Sgt Lyndsay who lost life while trying to rescue people who had capsized their boat in Swansea channel.
  7. Hmmm. The plaque is readable on my file copy but it seems CC reduces the definition when uploaded. It is a scenic spot spoiled by the fence put up by the local council because of asbestos contamination. So, here's a better hint - off the plaque. Sgt Rhoderic Francis Lyndsay
  8. Somehow the picture ended up on top instead of below. For anyone with an eagle eye there is a hint in the picture.
  9. Thanks. We stopped there on a 1/2 circumnavigation on Radiance OTS. It was HOT. Next pic.
  10. Have you seen this thread. It may have more information. It also mentions the ship can assist.
  11. I did a HAL tour of Lombok last year which was interesting and included the State Museum https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Attraction_Review-g297734-d4744397-Reviews-West_Nusa_Tenggara_State_Museum-Mataram_Lombok_West_Nusa_Tenggara.html At the museum there was free coffee and cake available as well as seating (I do not know if this would be the same for RCI tours). I had been to Lombok a few years before and heard similar reports to what you have heard and decided not to go ashore, my mistake. It is third world in appearance, however, by touring these areas we learn more about the world and how others live and contibute to the local economy. I did not explore the port area. Also IIRC, it was a longish ride to town in a small bus with no AC (which does not bother me).
