That's understandable. If there was, for example, 1 child aged say, 10 for every adult aged 35 you would have an average age of 22.5. A lot of kids? Who are the "fans"? These days parents aren't having kids until well into their 30s. Some kids may be accompanied by grandparents. There may be adults without children. So what does averaging mean? What does it tell us?

I never really understood vow renewal. It seems to infer that maybe they didn't really mean it the first time.

Back in 1997 we did a Cosmos tour or England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Eire. It was 30 days. There was a recommended tipping of £1 p/d for the driver and £2 p/d for tour guide. For forty people on the tour, if I have calculated correctly, would have been £1200 and £2400 each respectively. For us it was an extra £180 at a time when our $ was only about 52p, not a lot different to todays rate. It may not sound a lot today but in 1997 it was. For a place (UK) where wages were good and with no tipping culture we were very surprised. I can't remember how much we paid but it was not the full recommendation.

Did I forget to ask for the name of the town? Doh! Face palm. The coordinate would lead you to an English pub in a village in France. The pub closed due to the death of the owner (while we were there) and is now a bar/cafe.
