  1. You can also go back to the suite lounge after dinner, have another drink, and carry one with you to the evening show.
  2. When I'm taking pictures of the food I get a photo of the menu too. Sometimes I forget, but when I do they usually have one posted on the wall outside the MDR. I know this doesn't help OP, but I think it's a good tip for the food photographers.
  3. Sail out of Puerto Rico for many new ports. The entire string from St Maarten to Trinidad.
  4. If the rooms were linked when you booked it will show the link in the booking confirmation document. In the Royal Caribbean document, in the "Guest Information" section it will say "Stateroom Dining with Booking ID nnnnnn", where nnnnnn is the other person's reservation number. This will appear on the confirmation document for both rooms. Your travel agency confirmation document might also show the linkage, mine shows it right underneath my traditional dining assigned time.
  5. Usually the beds are together, but when you arrive you can tell your cabin attendant to separate the beds if you want them separated. There might be a way to request in advance but they can handle it once you arrive. You can also tell the attendant if you will be using the pull-out bed and they will take care of getting the bed ready in the evening and putting it away in the morning.
  6. Are you asking what is the procedure for buying and using it, or are you asking what is the quality of the service?
  7. Cancel for any reason insurance only pays 75% of your loss. Also, you must cancel 48 hours before the trip is scheduled to leave. RC is offering 100% credit if you cancel the trip, so insurance wouldn't pay anything anyway because there is no loss. You can't get reimbursed for flights because the airlines issue a credit, so no loss for insurance to cover. Insurance does cover extra expenses under the "Travel Delay" portion of the policy. This would include an additional hotel night for Sunday night. However the insurance company might argue that the refund of 1/7 of the cruise fare is meant to cover the expense of a hotel.
  8. Pineapple magnet, but I put it on my neighbor's door. Upside down.
  9. If the wind was pushing the ship sideways away from the pier at Coco Cay couldn't they back out and pull in on the other side of the pier and let the wind push the ship to the pier?
  10. They are giving a 100% refund (including refunding taxes, fees, and cruise planner purchases). On top of that they are giving a free cruise. If you take the free cruise you need to pay the port fees and taxes for that cruise. Not for the cruise that was canceled.
  11. If you say "yes" are you getting someone in trouble? What if they told the waiters they have to ask for a 10, and you answer "no"? Then you're getting your waiter into trouble. I never know what to say for that question. I always think if I answer "no" they know I'm lying and they throw out my survey.
  12. On Liberty the only show you can reserve is the ice show. They used to handle ice show reservations on Voyager and Freedom class by distributing paper tickets (general admission) at Guest Services.
  13. When you arrive at the show they will scan your sea pass card to confirm you have a reservation.
  14. I am seeing the same craziness. Yesterday it was advertised as $13.99 for one device and $11.99 for each additional device, but when I put them in the cart it was adding $18 per day for the second device, $13 for a third device, and $12 for a fourth device. Today the advertised price is still $13.99 for the first and $11.99 for each additional, but when I put them in the cart it is only adding $10/day for each additional device. $70 total, a nice round number with no ".99", so something is obviously still wrong but now it is wrong in our favor! Get it while you can!
  15. Are you selecting two one-device packages, or one two-device package? Two one-device packages will be $13.99 each. A two-device package should have the lower price of $13.99 + $11.99 per day. It is possible you are selecting a two-device package and not seeing the right price, but just wanted to make sure because the distinction is not clear on the website.
  16. For any given ship excursion you can usually find third parties who offer similar excursions, often at a lower cost. This website has a message board for each port of call where you can get information about reputable excursion operators in each port. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/
  17. Properly as in good etiquette. We can ask Miss Manners. I'll bet she has an opinion on what constitutes "proper" dress in the formal dining room on a cruise ship.
  18. Wear whatever you would wear to a white-tablecloth restaurant at home. It's nice to dress properly and show respect for the location and occasion.
  19. All you can do is try to narrow down where the problem lies. There is a whole string of possibilities and you can try to eliminate each until you find the problem. The next step would be to determine if the problem is with your computer or with your account on the RC website. Try logging in to your account on another computer. Even if this has worked in the past, try it now in case something has changed on the RC website. If you cannot log in on another computer then we know the problem is with your account because other people are able to log in. If a different computer works then the next thing I'd try is take your new laptop to another location such as a coffee shop and connect to their wifi, then try to log in. This would show if RC has an issue with your internet provider or IP address. Unless someone here had the same problem and can describe what they did to fix it, it's just a game of elimination.
  20. Try a different browser on that laptop to see if the problem is browser-related. Try Chrome, Edge, Firefox. If the laptop only comes with Edge you can install the other two.
  21. Interesting idea. I have a handheld marine radio. What channel do they use for pilot boat and shore communications?
  22. Those are two different types of cabins. What is the price of the Ocean View (3N) cabin 3630 for two adults no children?
  23. You can buy Internet service for one or more; you don't need to buy it for everyone. The package for one is really a "one device at a time" package which means multiple people can share it but it will only allow one device to be connected. If a second device connects the first device is disconnected. A two-device package will allow any two devices at one time. Note that a two-device package will cost less than two one-device packages. A three-device package costs even less per device. Your other decision with Internet packages is the speed. There are two speeds - "surf" is the slower speed package, "surf & stream" has faster service. Buy your internet package in advance, it will cost more if purchased onboard. The Main Dining Room has vegetarian options and even a full vegan menu with different choices each night.
