  1. They've been back for a couple months. But maybe not consistently across the fleet
  2. Dinning may be free, but is rarely complimentary. Dining on the other hand, that's complimentary.
  3. I've never paid more than about $300 per person (3 people) per day for a GS 7-nighter. Of course my upcoming 5-night Christmas sailing was hefty.
  4. Gee, wonder why no one is calling NCL, just look at their Q3 results NCL: Sequential Occupancy improvement to approximately 82% in the quarter, consistent with guidance. Given fourth quarter Occupancy is typically lower due to seasonality, we expect Occupancy to be in the mid-to-high 80 percent range RC: Load factors in the third quarter were 96% overall, with Caribbean sailings reaching almost 105%. Based on continued strength in consumer demand and typical load factor seasonality, the company expects fourth quarter load factors to be similar to third quarter overall, and to reach triple digits by year-end.
  5. Don't get me started about them swapping Patagonian Toothfish for Chilean Sea Bass.
  6. They likely had to wait for a software update from the vendor
  7. I was able to do this once, but the rest of the time they said they couldn't bring anything in.
  8. Pre-covid, you could only get what they brought into the lounge on the mobile bar. Post-covid, depends on the ship. If the lounge has a fixed bar, then you get the suite bar menu. If not you can order anything that the bar next door can pour, which is about anything. And yes you can take drinks out of the lounge. We do it every night, taking one to dinner with us.
  9. Until those ships aren't sailing full all the time then there's no reason RC should change anything
  10. There aren't exactly many options to sail to out of Bayonne on a 7 night cruise. Yet the ships are still full. But there are over 20 countries/islands one can visit on an RC cruise out of the Caribbean market. Just not from NY
  11. They wouldn't offer the itinerary if a few thousand people per week didn't think it was "good"
  12. What I'm paying for my 2023 cruises isn't much more than I was paying pre-restart That said the current prices for those cruises is a lot higher than what I booked for
  13. Yes, there was never any intent to shoo people off the ship before dawn. Just to allow those who wanted to GTFO to make it to school/work to do just that.
  14. No one gets priority on selecting arrival times. It's all first come/first serve.
  15. Do cruise lines themselves have insurance for issues like this? Obviously they have many layers of insurance, but specifically for unexpected delays of their own
  16. Probably hit or miss right now based on a given ship's remaining supply
  17. I've never had to show my vax card for anything other than boarding a ship. And I don't ever expect to show it for anything again.
  18. Doesn't every ship (that's not sailing Asian itineraries) have a diamond lounge, in one form or another
  19. Most don't realize outside of the channel Tampa Bay averages 12 feet deep
  20. There are many posts on this forum about Galveston transportation options
  21. Seems odd to pull an Oasis ship in the middle of the spring break season to do a TA unless it's a like for like swap and your cruise will still happen, just on a different ship
  22. I would guess some sort of administrative delay like coast guard inspection or a CBP event for crew.
  23. So nothing for the hotel room that a few thousand people need to go get at the last minute?
