Pre-covid, you could only get what they brought into the lounge on the mobile bar. Post-covid, depends on the ship. If the lounge has a fixed bar, then you get the suite bar menu. If not you can order anything that the bar next door can pour, which is about anything. And yes you can take drinks out of the lounge. We do it every night, taking one to dinner with us.

Until those ships aren't sailing full all the time then there's no reason RC should change anything

There aren't exactly many options to sail to out of Bayonne on a 7 night cruise. Yet the ships are still full. But there are over 20 countries/islands one can visit on an RC cruise out of the Caribbean market. Just not from NY

They wouldn't offer the itinerary if a few thousand people per week didn't think it was "good"

Yes, there was never any intent to shoo people off the ship before dawn. Just to allow those who wanted to GTFO to make it to school/work to do just that.

No one gets priority on selecting arrival times. It's all first come/first serve.

Do cruise lines themselves have insurance for issues like this? Obviously they have many layers of insurance, but specifically for unexpected delays of their own
