Well I respectfully disagree. If I paid for a flight to get home from a cruise then I get that money back in travel credit from the airline which I would use at another time saving me from spending more money and then the cruise line pays for my rental car and I drive home from the same cruise, then yes I see that as a windfall.

I’d ask them if they can transfer the funds to the new bookings. Tell them you don’t want to wait on FCC. Just be aware that you will lose any OBC you may have had and all cruise planner items will be canceled and you’d have to repurchase at the current pricing. Also if your old booking was eligible for the double points promo you’d lose that too. Just factor all this into the new cost before making a decision. Good luck!🍀

I call the C&A number when they first open and typically never have a long hold time. -
Anthem repetition and wanted change

I just looked. We only sail once maybe twice a year so I always book at least a balcony. We’re already booked on Oasis for this fall and it looks like Voyager isn’t that much more in our category which is unusual. Insides on my Oasis sail are about $279pp last time I price checked. -

Not sure where you’re located but we switch up with cruising out of Baltimore. Not a bad drive for us and we drive in day of embarkation. I always look at Boston but those fares are very high comparatively. -
My advice is you play by the rules the rest of us are and get the pkg for the people who are going to use it. Or do what you want and risk getting caught or just feeling guilty every time you share it.

I bought the refreshment pkg at $18 for my husband because he doesn’t drink enough alcohol to make the DBP payoff at these prices. I was waiting for it to go down but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I had $31 in OBC left on my CP, $159 leftover credit on my Amex due to a price drop after using some to prepay my gratuities and then I got the spend $500 get $125 statement credit on my Amex for RC. With all this I called and bought the DBP for myself at $72😳 so it really only cost me in my mind $287. I know it’s a lot of mind games but with the prices almost double what we’re used to you gotta do what you gotta do.

This is an absolute lie -
But it’s the new late start of MTD that turned me off. If I can’t go to the dining room until 6:45-7:00 I don’t consider that MTD anymore. That’s more like 2nd seating for early dining.

Our Oasis September 22 cruise is $229pp currently. This past winter it was $160pp. I don’t think it’ll go back down that much before the cruise. All CP prices have skyrocketed and haven’t gone back down since. They go up and down by about $10 depending on the current “sale”.

I agree with the others that they don’t care who sleeps where but if you do want to make the switch officially I’d wait until you are on board to do it. No way I would risk that with the mostly inept phone agents.

Inappropriate art on Adventure of the Seas?

Just lots of nude renaissance type artwork all over the ship and some people find the need to add their own embellishments. -
New Amex Offer - Check your cards
Jerseygirl1416 replied to greatestvalue's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I always get the offers and use them on my Amex Blue Sky. I got the recent spend $500 get $125 credit. I used the offer to purchase one UBP and I got the credit last week. The charge was posted on the 15th and the credit on the 16th. That said Amex is tightening the strings on these offers. You used to be able to get them on additional card holder cards but now it’s just one per account. I usually get them on my Everyday Card but I didn’t have the RC offer there but did have the Celebrity and the Norwegian offer so maybe it’s only one offer per person no matter how many different cards you have with them?
