Honestly before I read this I didn’t think you should be eligible for a pro rate refund but if they imposed restrictions on you all that weren’t quarantined then yes I do think you should be entitled to that refund. It’s the cost of doing business for RC in these crazy times. Follow others advice here and write that email to M Bailey and explain the restrictions you had to follow. I hope they do the right thing. Yup. I’m a block and a 1/2 from the beach and they not only make you get out of the ocean they make you clear the beach too.

Thanks for the video. I’ve got an OS booked on the 14th deck. It looks like it’s under the smoking tables by the sports pool. I’m sort of worried about noise but it was the only deck left with OS available. We are also early to bed, early to rise but sleep like the dead lol. Our only option price wise would be to switch to a CLS but I really like the features of the OS so much more. So if you were faced with this after staying on the 14th deck would you move to a CLS or stay put?

Maybe you should go back and look at your posts. I’m not going to bother. I distinctly remember you complaining pretty regularly on the Carnival boards mostly about the clientele on Carnival and how you wouldn’t cruise them anymore. I’m not judging you for those feelings but I’m not going to sit back and not call you out when you judge someone else for complaining.

I haven’t heard of too many happy with Adventure this summer. I think it’s a combination of summer sailing (huge crowds), older ship, maybe less experienced crew and maybe a crappy F&B officer. I’ve sailed a few mainstream companies and found that they are all more similar than they are different. The differences in my opinion are in the specific ships. I now only book newer ships that get overall good reviews. And I never sail in the summer and after a Christmas cruise never on a holiday either. I’m sorry you weren’t happy with your cruise. Hopefully the next one will be better.

This is what I’m doing this time too. Last time I used Emed. OP I was worried the first time I had to do the proctored test. It’s normal since it’s something you don’t have experience with but once it was done I wished I hadn’t worried so much. It was really very simple. I’m not worried one bit about my next time. If we God forbid test positive then it is what it is and we’ll get a refund and move onto to planning a replacement vacation. Good luck🍀

I got that before the big Covid cluster. I had to wait a couple of months then to get an appointment so the shortage of those isn’t new. The good thing is once you get there with your appointment you’re in and out pretty quickly.

It’s gotten much better. Lots of appointments available for tomorrow if you check now. At least in Monmouth County.

Hopefully he can get to the DMV. Our DMV give you the license the day you go. No temporary license. But if he can’t I’d bet that his birth certificate, expired passport and the college ID with photo would get him on the ship. Good luck!🍀

You have to spend the whole offer amount in one billing cycle to trigger the statement credit. So if you have spend $500 get $150 statement credit it has to be $500 in RC charges during one billing statement. You could cancel gratuities and other items in the planner and then repurchase using your Amex
