Why not ? It's just a small disc, so hardly an imposition. -
As a matter of interest, if you have non-refundable obc ( shareholder obc for example) I assume Prencess use the refundable obc first, so as to limit the amount that they might need to repay ?

The sledge run is a tourist rip off. The gardens are lovely though.

From memory, there is quite a bit of walking, plus queuing for the cable car. I might be inclined to reconsider.

Now that the downhill stretch has been tarmacked, replacing the cobbles, I am told that the experience is far less exciting that it was previously.

Easy to diy. Just be aware that the toboggans only go halfway down the hill. You will need to walk the rest of the way, or get a taxi.

John, the point is that when you are indoors, 95% of the time you will be eating or drinking, not that you will be spending 95% of the time inside.

To be fair, it would be more of a waste if people forgot their appointments. Just surprised that they don't use an automatic calling system, where you get a call and have to press "1" to confirm that you will be attending. -
Well, after all, he worked anti-social hours, had to leave his family behind, and deal with difficult customers. Too right he should get a tip! The captain on "Below Decks" always gets a tip !

It's ironic that cruise ships and the aircraft that fly cruise passengers to travel on those ships, contribute to the reduction in the glaciers ! By cruising in Alaska, we are all causing the glaciers to reduce.

Well, as most Americans use a percentage tipping system, how about 17.5% of the cost of the cruise ? Just not sure how I can deliver the envelope to him at the end of the cruise.

I just print off a copy of my online portfolio, redact (typex!) anything irrelevant, and email the redacted copy to P&O with my cruise details. Done and dusted.

It makes no difference to Carnival Inc if the number of shares required for obc is increased. It makes no difference at all to the bottom line. When you are billlions of dollars in debt, tinkering with shareholder obc is totally irrelevant.

Specialty meal on Princess, including gratuity is just under $30, so around £27. How does that compare to P&O ? I know it is more, but subjectively the Princess offering is far better than that on P&O.

I repeat, the Medallion does not hold any information. It links to the on board computer where all the information is stored.

I've never been asked to show the app at check in. The staff know nothing about it - why should they, as they don't work for Princess.

I agree. I think the conversation became a little muddled, as some posts were about people coughing because they may have had covid, and other posts were about people coughing because of other long term healh issues.
