Transatlantic!! 13 days!! Rome to Orlando is how it is stated but we all know that means Rome to Port Canaveral. So excited! My sister and I have talked about taking one for years and this is the year it all fell into place.

We sail on the Connie last year from Tampa and LOVED it. Liked seeing the bridge in the sunlight. We went under it at night since we were delayed a LONG time due to fog. Very pretty all lit up at night. One way to get away from the chaos on the first night of dinner in main dining room is to book one of the specialty places. Alot of time there is a discount if you go on the first night. We loved it so much; they talked us into eating there again but for another discount. Take care of the Connie - She might be small and older but she is special.

Chocolate Lava Cake!!!! That is our go to. I've been known to skip appetizer and get 2 of those!! But without that red stuff on top!! Lol...

I love the fact that you love your new job!! I finally bit the bullet after 12 years and left a job that was sucking my soul dry. (I did love the job the first 10 years, but those last 2 years - put the oreos on the shelf yourself you nasty store manager). I just hit 5 years at a job I took on a hunch that I would like it and now I'm part owner!! Love my job. Love my co-workers. Life is too short to not love your job (unless the $$ is TONS OF MONEY - Lol). Back to your live review - a B2B?? Sounds wonderful. Have a good trip to NO and a great cruise/cruise!!!

Following this trip report from Taylorsville!! Very interested in this itinerary - all new to us. We are on our first NCL cruise in October after several on Celebrity & RC & Carnival & MSC. Have a great trip!!

We are on the October Epic TA. This cruise is a chance for my sister and I to just chill. It would be nice for some sun and mid-70’s but we will have cards and dominos and books, so we will be good. Maybe we will see you on board…

As someone who always travels with a small fan, I get you. Hopefully you have no issue. We cruise out of Tampa last year and I had no issue with my fan. But we did have issue with fog…It was very foggy and the cruise before us didn’t get in until after 3:00pm. Sucked big time. We didn’t board until after 5:00. And it was a cluster f***. No lines, just push your way to the front. But we got on board and the cruise was wonderful!!!

Since you are more experience than we are on transatlantic crossings than we are (first on coming in October), could we pick your brain for a little bit? We've been researching a transatlantic crossing for a few years now and I hope we have a realistic expectation of what we will experience. Have you done a transatlantic from Rome to east coast of Florida? In mid-October? Could you give us an idea on what you've seen/experienced? We know the weather is at the mercy of Mother Nature and can/will change on a dime, but curious if you always had one type of weather or did it vary (we assume it will vary from great to crappy!)? Is there any chance we will see sun/warm? Or just cloudy/rainy? We are hoping for some sun, but this is a cruise for my sister and I to just relax and chill, so some rain will be welcomed. We are good with some waves/swells - it's pretty fun!! We are also in the Haven section on the Epic. Does the pool deck top open and close or is it fixed? Thank you for anything you share with us.

May I ask when they made this change? We are new to Norwegian - coming from Celebrity where were allowed to bring wine on board. We do like bring a bottle of wine on board with us so we can enjoy a glass on our balcony. We do have FAS but didn't know it was allowed. So just curious...

That's exactly why my husband won't cruise!! So I'm looking at a transatlantic SOLO!!

$29.00 to not have to deal with my bags at end of cruise? I do believe that would be worth it to me. Thank you for your trip report. Thoroughly enjoyed your report. Now I need to get a cruise booked for this year. We have one for Feb 2025 on Norwegian, but I love Celebrity.

If more people would do the research, then there would be more people not mistaken. Not misleading. It’s how THiS cruise line does things. Each cruise line does things their own way. When you pick a cruise, then you should do your research and not assume. We need more people to be ‘responsible for their decisions’.

So very sorry to hear about Bella. It's so hard to make that decision, but it shows your love that you guys don't want her to suffer. Keep her memories close and hopefully the ocean will be soothing to your broken heart. Try and enjoy your cruise....

So deck 12 is first choice. Can you give me your list as you see it from better starting with deck 12 to worse for the AFT balconies (no Haven)?
