  1. Yes, that will do it. I bet they don't want to hear what Andy and I might have to say to them. 🍸
  2. And here I am totally offended by social media and no one cares....
  3. In that restaurant or on Viking such breaches of normal dress are a failure of management.
  4. rip, Viking is still a 745' long ship. Not that long ago she would be right up there with the largest cruise ships built. Also Viking is, in many cases the "new kid on the block" when it comes to long standing port agreements. In many cases on our Viking world cruises V would be out at the container port while a larger mass market would be docked closer to town. If you really want a different, smaller type Med cruise I recommend you take a look at SeaDream Yacht Club. They really do get into smaller spaces the big rigs have to avoid. Very nice.
  5. Yours is always available Mr. Hum.🍸
  6. Only line I am familiar with that publishes the masters list is Azamara.
  7. Our recent Viking experiences indicate they are at a strong price point, have limited to no discounts, have a very full load level (including two world cruise ships) so they should be making lots of money. I suppose they have worked through most of the covid related "funny money" which represented money long since spent but expenses (trips) still owed. That must have been hard to deal with. The IPO seems very complex even by today's standards but I am hoping for the best for Viking and not a Carnival Corp. like result. I do have to say our recent sailing was the first time in near 400 days onboard that I generally did not like the overall food experience. One of the easiest areas to save a few bucks.
  8. Is Viking trying to do too many different things with too many moving parts to protect their core business. Whatever that might be these days...
  9. Great safari pix Clay. #Skygetsitall! Especially after Neptune's missed ports...
  10. Unless kids are running around screeching they are usually better behaved than the idiots who just think FaceTiming in public is the thing to do. How did we all manage to un learn our manners??
  11. Here I am on my last Regent tour. Now I know I am better lookin than most but I had no problem fitting in...l🍹
  12. Here's me on our last TA. Note the hat does not show Eastbound or Westbound direction. Can't see but wearing fashionable bell bottom jeans. Got in everywhere....🥃
  13. That has also been attributed to Bear Bryant. Would not wear his famous houndstooth hat in the LA Superdome.
  14. chair hogs are indeed alive and well on Viking.
  15. We booked a Penthouse. Only a few left. Can't wait to get a tan on Mars...🍹 https://click.cruise.rssc.com/?qs=07988ab46ab9db94dfba3d8c39acd519c8e4a792accaede9de9cc00b32153883510c0eb9030e3a732cb5a1de7728b22fcc47d627ea7e118777d2bc82a469940a Nice someone at Regent has a sense of humor.
  16. We have been on 3 Viking WCs, two fully sold to complete world cruisers and one mostly full of segments,. Approx. 200 full world cruisers or so we were told. First thought is like Dee we fully enjoy the camaraderie built up with some guests. However, there are always those that irritate you or worse. Nice when they are segmenters and go home... We also met some very nice segmenters we still keep in touch with and were sorry to see leave. Personalities aside, segmenters invariably come aboard with the do everything at once mentality. Hurry up cause we are going home soon. Full world cruisers get into a much more relaxed vibe as you don't have to hurry and do everything. There is always tomorrow. Also full world cruisers get into the rhythm of the ship, understand the flow patterns at the World Cafe, don't feel the need to storm Manfredi's and the Chefs table after the first two or three visits makes that not a thing. Segmentrers bring a bit of fresh outlook onboard but can also bring fresh cooties from their travels to the ship. So, plusses and minuses for both. Best plan is take one of each and see which you like best....🍸
  17. You will need to FedEx my package to Arizona if you don’t mind. Looks like a great day 🍹
  18. Look at the itinerary and see what ship it is. If it is the same ship as the WC ship in the same time frame it is a segment.
  19. Aint nothin' like a duck in a wifebeater....😱🍹
  20. Easy, don’t book till 6 months out.🍸
  21. Wow! A new dress code sort of thread.🍸
  22. Agreed with the search shortcomings but just scrolling back through a few pages of the threads and you find extensive discussions of the topic.
  23. Quite a few decorated doors on Neptune recently on the WC. And I agree with your take.
  24. If the OP would spend a few minutes on search function for this topic they would find this ole dead horse has already been kicked all around the block.
