  1. There's also wide with walk-in closet. 😉 Some DGS sleep 4 and some sleep 5. 19002 is also one of a kind. I'll get it done, eventually.
  2. I don't have a good photo/video of 19024 but this video shows where the walk-in would be (next to the mirror). If you could give actual proof with a photo or video, I'd appreciate it.
  3. I'm giving them 2 extra months to iron out the wrinkles before I'm in the terminal and on the ship.
  4. I've been on Seashore a couple of times (even as recently as a few months ago) and I've never had a problem with the service (on any MSC cruise ship). While on the sundeck, butlers will carry food and/or drinks for us back to our cabana/pergola without us having to ask. Servers will even approach me while I'm in the pool or hot tub and ask if I'd like another of whatever I'm drinking. Butler escort to a show? No problem. Butler escort to the front of the line at a port of call? No problem. Special requests? No problem. One thing that I have noticed on some reviews (particularly Seashore's recent ones) is that the short 3-4 night cruises aren't as impressive as the regular 7 night cruises. Maybe some other forum members who have done both can give their view. I've also done some Haven cruises on NCL and I've done the compare/contrast with those 2. Some areas favor Haven, some favor Yacht Club. I enjoy both so there is no "loser" between them. Thanks for the review. If you ever decide to give Yacht Club another chance, feel free to ask any questions that would help to make for a better experience.
  5. I'm compiling a list with photos/videos of all of the Deluxe Grand Suites for Seashore/Seascape for the walk-in closet info. I know which ones have and which ones don't but I want photo/video of all of them before I post it. There are some differences with them such as some sleep five while others sleep four. Some have the walk-in closet, some don't, etc.. Were you using the elevator "hijack" that Yacht Club guests can use? It can put an elevator into Priority Service mode to pick you up and express you to your destination. Sometimes, it's faster but sometimes, it isn't.
  6. I guess the "Late 8" thread has died so now we get to see how many people take the bait with this thread... Next up "How early do I have to get up to reserve a lounger that's next to the pool?..."
  7. Carnival is more like Daewoo or Tata. 🤨 They'll probably get you there and back but.....
  8. Deck 16 is the drawing on top... The video is deck 16 (16010) and the bathroom is next to the bedroom.
  9. I found the following from "Cruiseswithfamilyornot" (World Europa) "I was in Room 18001, which is one of the Owner Suites. Great room. Comfortable bed, plenty of storage, walk in closet, and our butler Sandor deserves medals he was that good. Negatives were shower was shockingly small and tight(smaller and tighter than a regular yacht club deluxe suite), and the 2/3 of the balcony was in easy viewing distance from the outside area of the Top Sail Lounge, which was not great." There's also a post from "alistairg" who stayed in World Europa OS 16002 "We wanted the larger room, smaller deck as we spend more time inside."
  10. That would be deck 18 Neither has a second bathroom from what I have seen....
  11. With the balcony door closed and sealed, noise from Spice H2O isn't a problem. If you try to hear something, you can but any sound/bass that you hear won't be any more disruptive than the other sounds that you hear on a moving ship. Going down to deck 10 would also put you closer to the sound caused by the ship's propellers. With the door sealed, it isn't an issue and some people enjoy the sound but going down to deck 10 won't be silent, either.
  12. The posts that quoted yours just better explained what NCL actually paid. Your post was... ...which could be misleading if people didn't read the article.
  13. On the NCL site (Explore >>> Find a Cruise) , click "More Filters" and check the "Free 3rd and 4th Guests" and "Apply" to see what is currently available. It can change at different times so keep looking if you don't find what you want. Also, just because it is available now doesn't mean that it will always be available. MOST NCL ships have plenty of bells and whistles. Sun is a bit older so I would recommend a newer/larger ship for kids.
  14. How would she... ...get from that boat to deck 4 on Dawn? If she's having trouble going down from the dock to the boat, how would she go up from the boat to the ship?
  15. I know about capacity. It is often over 100%. Some non-cruising people see "over 100%..." and they fear that there won't be enough lifeboats for everyone "...like Titanic..." CC members generally understand or can understand that over 100% isn't a deathtrap.
  16. https://www.insideedition.com/south-carolina-tourists-stranded-on-island-off-central-african-coast-after-missing-cruise-departure Getting the elderly woman onto the boat from the dock was difficult....(:32 in the video)
  17. I'm not denying anything. I've booked independent excursions, too. My point is that whatever negative publicity this will generate, NCL will continue to fill their ships and as a possible side effect, people might be less likely to book the independent excursion if (in the back of their mind) people remember this story.
  18. ...and ships will continue to sail at over 100% capacity.... ...and more people will book NCL sponsored excursions instead of booking independent excursions.
  19. "Attach a scan or screen capture of your current external loyalty card. File formats accepted are doc, docx, and pdf. Maximum file size is 4MB. A unique email address is required and once the application has been confirmed, you will receive a message to the email address provided with an MSC Voyagers Club Card Number."
  20. Because of the angle, you'll only be seen from above when you're at the railing.
