  1. Done it several times, great tips above. May I add, sometimes uber wait can be Longer than grabbing a taxi. Last couple times, we walked right up to cab line and there was NO wait. And what looked like a 100 people waiting for their uber/lyft rides. In that case, taxi IS faster and not much more of a price difference. When you have an early flight like that... (were usually on Southwest and have TSA Pre) Request Walkoff Group A, and be ready to go with your luggage. Grab taxi, its about 35 min ride to airport. Were usually there 8:45 ish. Good luck.

  3. I do it all the time when I'm returning to San Pedro /LA, and flying out of Long Beach. We get in first walk off group, (our walkoff week ago we were first off ship at 7:14 AM) and got one of the first Ubers. Its about 30 min ride to LGB. Think its about the same timing for Ft. Laud. Helps if you have carryon, in case you are delayed getting there & not enough time to Check bag. (we had plenty of time to check bags & enjoyed nice little breakfast at airport.) Yes were TSA Pre. (Thanks to Global Entry. We just renewed, like it alot) Security Line was actually kinda long at the airport, but only 2 in Tsa Pre. We have had No probs out here. Agree about Plan B.
  4. Elite medallions have your Name on it, and sailing date. I certainly wouldn't want to sell or give an item with my Name on it. As far as fancy watches & jewelry? LEAVE THEM AT HOME. Wear the Fake stuff for travel! I don't understand Why anyone would want to risk losing or having nice items stolen on a trip? Once its happened to you? You will think twice about bringing your valuables again. We Only travel with fakes. I try to find phoney ones that look like our Reals. But NO WAY I'm wearing Real for travel anymore. Good luck with that.
  5. Thanks, for posting. Believe me, None of us Wants to be posting anything negative. I felt like the biggest rah rah for Princess casino offers there ever was. Rallied several casino whales, (or at least dolphins) to give Princess a try, yada yada. But Now with the wheels falling off? No way I will be doing that anymore! Between Not getting my email or snail mail offers for offers that are clearly in our accounts? And Not being able to book them? Its been a lesson in futility! I could have written much of what you said! I also was told I didn't have Princess Plus (which I was Always given before) and only a cabin and guess what.... $750 FP. Hmmmmm But once I got thru the grueling booking process with the Call Center newbies, like You experienced? And I found out it Didn't have Plus perks anymore? I said NO thanks. Cancel! And then I cancelled another cruise this summer, mostly cuz I'm pissed. Looks like we will be making some Vegas trips this year. Hello Wynn. Hello Palazzo. Hello Aria. We get treated very well and NO Call center or email drama! I really HOPE Princess Players Club gets their act together!!!!!
  6. Sorry some of you going thru the Same thing! Its almost like Casino dept. turned us Off email/snail mail....... so we stop booking our offers. Then Why have them listed in our online Princess accounts? Why can't Casino reservations book them & insist on a Campaign Code? Cuz if you Don't get email or snail mail, you Don't have a campaign code. Cannot book, and they Cannot See what the offer is? Come on! It shouldn't be this hard! Princess Casino dept. is NOT making it easy to book! This has taken way too much time & detective work. At this point, I continue pursuing My offers, like a rash on Casino depts butt!😏
  7. Its taken close to 3 months for me to Hopefully get my email restored. Only gotten one Princess Players Club email so far. Wheres the rest? Finally got a call today, reply to an email I sent Weeks ago. Time will tell if it gets corrected, before more casino offers expire, expire, expire.. In the meantime, I've been trying to weed out Which phone #'s get the actual Casino dept. instead of out of country call center "Navigators". They TRY, but really have no power, to Fix many things that need fixing. You are usually get put on hold while they discuss with Whoever. I need to talk to the Whoevers, and not the newbie Navigators! If I get the "escalate" BS, I've learned thats code for, delay delay and nobody calls back or does anything. I wonder if ANY of Princess casino dept is left? I would like nothing better than to say how fabulous Princess Casino Dept is. Its got to get better, or many of us are moving on.
  8. Short answer, can get a voucher from a Land based casino, or pay, or ask for casino rate for one of those lines. Once you get your foot in the door, you will begin getting vouchers directly from ship casino Players club. Won't have to acquire from land based casinos anymore.
  9. Thanks for the useful info! I did more digging and got us booked, due to FF miles, yeah that makes a difference. Didn't do EZ air. Companion pass was only good domestic. So will save for another time. πŸ˜‰
  10. I have FFmiles and a Companion pass on AA. (which would be BA) Would like to use for our R/T London flights pre/post Princess cruise this summer. We have always booked domestic cruise flights ourselves, but thinking International should use EZair.πŸ€” Has anyone been able to book EZair if you have a Companion pass or points to use? Should I even get EZair involved, and just book flights myself? Any experience with this appreciated.

  12. I'm in the same boat, friend had to cancel. We leave Tomorrow. Decided I'm going anyway, and will wing it. I'm a masker indoors, and tend to avoid MDR anyway. Will probably do most of my dining on deck, grill etc. Avoiding CG and specialty. Theres also good ole Room service. Pizza on the patio... lol You might make a couple friends in the casino....when youre Winning! Thats the hope. Sometimes Trivia is a good way to meet a few folks daily. Good Luck and I hope you have a good time anyway! Youre Not alone, theres other folks in that situation.
  13. Lucky....Thats around the time mine stopped arriving too and don't know why? I can see 3 casino Comp offers in my online acct Espiring end of Feb., and No way to book without the "Campaign Codes! They are Not being sent to me. I called and got Another person who said, It looks like Casino Dept hasn't released the offers Yet. Give it a few more days. Its like delay, delay........Here we go again..... 🀨

  15. Agree with Roxie, except Princess is suppose to Email you the offer. Or snail mail. I haven't been able to receive either the past few months. (yes I'm opted in) Calling does No good (for me) cuz Rep says they can't see my offer until Casino dept Releases it.🀨 Email or snail mail us our offers Princess! Were Not mind readers. That seems to be the only way to actually SEE what the offer is for, and WHERE you can go. How do we know What the offer qualifies for if you don't notify us, and Casino dept CAN'T see it to tell us? πŸ˜‘
  16. Were elite, but I find doing a load of laundry or two, on a Sea day (Or port I don't wanna get off) to be relaxing. Something useful to do. I get it done MY WAY.... and get in my steps. Also helps us pack much lighter.
  17. I may be doing that as well soon. Yes you can call and get guest Name transferred fairly easily. Make sure you have All your friends info when you call to make the change. (I have my friend send me pics of their DL & passport. Also need their address, phone & email addy and youre ready to change Guest.) I believe you can make the change up until last minute.
  18. Thanks sprocket. I feel for ya. If you happen to call 1800 Princess, (Not casino dept) see if you can get transferred to Guest Service. Thats who helped (I hope) me get my emails & birthday info fixed. Plus 2 people OFF my email account, and MERGE their Duplicate accounts. Yeah I was very annoyed at missing out on Prestige cruise. ALL Casino Depts fault. Seems an ongoing major SNAFU in the fact we can SEE the offers online in our accounts. But Nobody from Princess can see what the offer IS until its released by Casino Dept? So you Can't book it!! If Casino Dept (and their Supervisors who NEVER call back) don't release in a timely fashion? You can say bye bye to your Offer! WHY is it up to us to chase them down? Seems a big Unnecessary problem.

  20. I like to be midship in the vicinity of Pano elevators. Prefer alittle to the left or right of where yours are. You are kinda right on it. Can be a little noisy depending on sailing, but for the most part you might learn to like the position.

After numerous calls & emails to No avail, I gave up on my Prestige offer in Nov. and basically stewed during December at lack of Princess help.🀨 In December I discovered that Somehow my moms email offers were coming to Both of my emails, and my offers Stopped arriving. Huh Today I finally got thru to someone at Guest Service to fix a few things. (Main Princess #, and finally transferred to GS.) Guest Service seems to be the magical place where Experienced reps you Used to talk to all the time, have been sent to. Good luck getting one. GS supposedly put a stop to my moms emails coming to Mine, and Hopefully my offers start up again? Time will tell...😏 I currently have 2-3 new Casino comp offers sitting in my account online. But No way to know What offers include like cabin type? Places? And it appears casino Dept And Guest services can't see them either until their "released" by casino Dept. Here we go again..... At least he was able to correct the $40 charge that appeared on my upcoming sailing. So instead of Booking saying Paid in full, it said Owing $40.... for what? It was a Casino booking that I paid my share for long ago, and balance paid by casino dept. Time after time, I don't know why this has to be so hard for Casino guest bookings.πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

  23. Agree with Roxie. We have many Princess cruises booked this year and nothing into 2024. If Princess comp offers dry up or go too low, like appears to be happening?πŸ€” We will start booking on NCL again. Can pick up NCL casino vouchers again.....soon as available.πŸ˜‰
  24. I would like to know too! My emails and calls don't get any reply. I feel like a broken record too..... casino bookings we Don't get PVP so that does Not work for everyone.
