  1. THANK YOU!!! Where has this Online version been hiding all my life? I was able to complete what I needed to, to be back in Green lane. Plus order our Medallions! We'll still bring hard copies to embarcation. But doing so much ahead is a relief. Without the app!!!! which I hadn't been able to get to work right since the update.
  2. I'm stuck in Blue, and still having issues with my Travel checklist disappearing. I just sent another email to the tech line. askoceanmedallion@carnival.com If nothing much changes, will bring all my hard copies per usual. And finish at embarcation. I don't have much choice.....🙄
  3. LOL I never thought about it but maybe thats whats happening, their dropping off a zero? In any case I Always bring a copy of the booked offer & Freeplay Amount listed in the Special Services on the Travel Summary.
  4. I think the heading says Special Services, but yes in your Travel summary. Look it over carefully. If its Not there? Call casino rep and make sure its added. When it is, reprint your TS and make sure to bring a copy with you on your cruise, for when you visit Cashier to get Freeplay put on your acct. I always have a printed copy of it WITH me when I first visit cashier. I'd say about 1/3 of the time, I'm Not on the list or my amount says lower. So being able to Show Proof of Correct amount, always helps expedite correction.

  7. Gamblers hear those announcements more often, as its usually announced often In The Casino towards end of cruise. If your due more than $25? They will send you a check. I always cash out a day or two ahead. And then if I want to play anymore? I use cash, so I don't have to visit the very busy cashier on the last day. Of course if I hit something big? Then I wait in line to cash out.
  8. Wanted to tell my outcome. I was able to move ALL those funds from October Meditt cruise, to a CA Coastal cruise during the same time. This was done by having a new casino offer that needed to be booked. When I explained to Princess Casino Rep that we had no intention of doing EU cruise in Oct., but wanted to coastal comp cruise instead? She said, Oh I can do that for you. So I lost no $$, and lost No deposits. Just lucked into speaking with an experienced Casino Rep. and she handled it without prob.
  9. Mine auto updated yesterday looks like. So I logged on. So far, so good.... Then I tried to do something simple like check my Personal Info & Documents. It spins Loading a bit, then for a an Instant, I see my Info! Yippee.... Then it immed clicks to: "You do Not have any Journey Listed Select Link to Add one" What? I have about 10 cruises Listed. They are all in there. But TRY to do Anything, and get that error message. Tried logging in & out a few times? Same thing.🤨
  10. Maybe 30 mins. And like mentioned above, might wanna bring a jacket if you want to be King of the World. Very Windy too. Not enuf hairspray in the world gonna hold your doo.🙆‍♂️

  12. We usually have The Drill running on the tv, as were Unpacking.... then go to our muster station to scan our medallion.... then go to lunch. 😋
  13. "Calling about 3 mins before they open seems to be the best way." Agree..... I did that last time I called. Still a one hour wait, but needed to Talk to casino rep! Took another hour to do everything I needed. But sometimes you Gotta CALL. No way I could handle it all thru email. Agree.... getting to an experienced Casino Rep, is what is needed! I've wasted several conversations with newer Casino reps, and it rarely works out. I end up having to call back. So call early, and fingers crossed you get an experienced rep. asap.
  14. I'm with you Mary. We like eating in the MDR, but will probably avoid it like the plague.....er.... virus.... on our upcoming cruises this year. Its a dam shame, but too much unmasking for hours, isn't going to cut it these days. As far as catching it in the casino? Theres a good possibilty of that, especially since Princess is Still allowing smoking inside. 🙄 I'm bringing a few N95 masks for this purpose. I will be garbed-up like hazmat. 😷🤣
  15. Do you book casino bookings thru your CVP? You need to talk with Casino dept for casino bookings.
  16. I spoke with Casino dept last week & was told their paying Their portion about 2 weeks before your cruise. Kinda cutting it close IMO. I've had 1 cruise cancelled on me, when I noticed it missing from my online Personalizer. If you ever see your cruise missing? Call casino dept so they can reinstate it. Otherwise I try Not to let the Final notice bother me. Reminder, theres a Cruise Casinos board, if you scroll down on home page.

  18. Thats the scary thing. People Not reporting being sick. I would have called Guest services or Medical center & reported their cabin#. Don't know if it does any good, but I wouldn't want the probable covid coughers next door.
  19. Count me in as an Elite who does their own laundry. Its so simple, put timer on my phone, watch a movie or nap. Last cruise I did Rm Serv & had drink delivered to my cabin while doin my laundry. Plus, you get it back a heck of lot sooner.
  20. Let me specify, The Train. I've yet to have the train fully booked, in all our AK trips. Not many Ship tours fill up, but yes certain ones can. In todays unsettled tour environment, I would wait til onboard. YMMV
  21. When in doubt, book a Rental car. Mind you, you can Reserve a car. You Don't have to pay ahead. (DON'T sign up for Pay ahead!) Then you can cancel if you decide Not to rent after all. (I booked ours thru Southwest air website, and never been charged for same day cancellation) We have used rental cars from Vanc to Seattle airport a few times after cruising. It was cheapest when we rented the car from YVR. (just look around) So we took tram from Canada Place to YVR, got our rental car, (one way rental) and drove to Seattle airport. Worked like a charm. Was about a 3 hour drive.
  22. We prefer to book tours while onboard, Not ahead. So, not a problem.
  23. But that is thru What date of sailings? Is it only good thru Oct., like Cruise with Confidence? So if you sail in Nov., and get covid, you're out of pocket & out of luck? They change the rules so often, my mind boggles...
  24. Since you are a Local.... what do you think of stopping there vs. Victoria? I really enjoy stopping in Victoria, so I need to be sold on Prince Rupert....
  25. As far as carryon, IF its ONLY up to 20" that fits in the machine? 20" is kinda small. Even in airplane overheads, I've traveled with 21", up to 22" as carryon, and fits fine. Has anyone with 21 or 22" carryon gotten thru for Ship as carryon? Thanks
