On our Alaskan cruise (10 day) they were seaday brunches.

That's me too! Hence, the reason for my question and calling my PVP!

This is the first time I booked a cruise with a PVP (casino offer) and was told that it is a guarantee cabin and it would be assigned automatically. All my previous cruises (over 20+) I had booked myself. I only did it because she kept calling as we had nothing booked. I did call my PVP to ask about it and she said it will be assigned but could be up to the day of the cruise. This makes no sense as my luggage tags need to have a room number in order to be delivered! We are less than 2 weeks from sail date and still says "stateroom 1". Has anyone else experienced this and if so, when did you finally get a room assigned? BTW-this will be the last time I book with a PVP.

THIS!!!! except we have cruised more than 3 times since restart. We love, love the Celebration and will be our first choice for our next cruise and we've been on her twice in the last 3 months.

Why would an 8 day cruise be any different for the staff as a 7 day or am I not understanding your question?

They do not give complimentary upgrades. You will not lose your RU2 deal. I've gotten "upsells" and the deal from the original offer do not change, only the cabin.

I can tell from personal experience that the smoke free casino on the Celebration is truly smoke free! You cannot smell the smoking area at all.

It's only select ships at this point

During our Alaskan cruise last May, we experienced extremely rough waters for a few days. We went on the Miracle out of San Fran. It was a great ship. Never felt crowded. To be honest, the way you describe his likes and dislikes AND seasickness, it doesn't sound like cruising is for him....just sayin......

Nothing to write home about. If you forget, you won't miss much. 🙂

Celebration still had Let it Ride, Three Card Poker, Heads up and some blackjack at $5 minimum 2 weeks ago AND it was an Elite cruise

My husband bought me a ring and earrings from Effy on board the Celebration. They are white & Yellow Diamonds. I had them appraised at home by my jeweler friend and they were appraised for what I paid.

We have eaten at Rudi's on the Celebration 3 times on our 2 past cruises. We thought the food was very good and the service outstanding. As jimbo554 said, we also thought it was better than the steakhouse.
