THIS!!!! except we have cruised more than 3 times since restart. We love, love the Celebration and will be our first choice for our next cruise and we've been on her twice in the last 3 months.
They do not give complimentary upgrades. You will not lose your RU2 deal. I've gotten "upsells" and the deal from the original offer do not change, only the cabin.
During our Alaskan cruise last May, we experienced extremely rough waters for a few days.
We went on the Miracle out of San Fran. It was a great ship. Never felt crowded.
To be honest, the way you describe his likes and dislikes AND seasickness, it doesn't sound like cruising is for him....just sayin......
My husband bought me a ring and earrings from Effy on board the Celebration. They are white & Yellow Diamonds. I had them appraised at home by my jeweler friend and they were appraised for what I paid.
We have eaten at Rudi's on the Celebration 3 times on our 2 past cruises.
We thought the food was very good and the service outstanding.
As jimbo554 said, we also thought it was better than the steakhouse.
A catamaran is not a good idea for someone with mobility issues. We were just on a catamaran in St Thomas (Adventuress) and you have to be able to walk onto a narrow step to get onto the catamaran and the ride is not smooth.
If you look at the excursion, it will tell you if it's inappropriate for someone with mobility issues
I understand. We book through Carnival, because we always worry about getting back to the ship on time which actually happened this last cruise. We got back late from an excursion in St Thomas. There were about 40 of us that got back to the ship about 20 minutes late.
We have done the western Caribbean more times than I can count and have never encountered any issues.
We do, however, only book excursions through Carnival.
The traffic issue was due to the Ultra music festival and an overturned tractor trailer in the tunnel. We have done over 20 cruises out of Miami and have NEVER experienced the nightmare that was on that weekend.
The only plugs in the room on the Celebration are on the opposite side of the room under the mirror. There are no plugs on the side of the bed or couch. Next to the bed are only USB ports.
There were MANY scooters on our cruise last week and none were parked in the hallway at least on our floor or any floors we walked through. We were in a regular balcony and I don't see how a scooter would fit in any part of the cabin.
Celebration is an awesome ship. Enjoy!
I do not play slots (unless I get bored at the tables) So any offers I get is based on my table play. I'm not a big better but I do spend a lot of time in the casino.
My husband gets more fun play than I do but we both get the DOU everywhere. Right now I have about 5+ different offers with the DOU everywhere.
WE are degenerate gamblers and we get the DOU everywhere for all our offers, no matter the cabin type.
I couldn't tell you the secret sauce. I just think it's random.
Why bother John Heald for this request when you can go to the dining room on embarkation day and request it yourself.
We have never had a problem getting a table for 2. Sometimes you may have to wait for the second day for the matre d to accommodate you.
