  1. It's about a half mile down the boardwalk, then up less than a block up.
  2. Do you try the Alexander Keith brewery tour? It was reasonably priced (3 years ago) and no reservations were needed.
  3. I'm on two sailings there this year, September 7, and October 5. The September one is a b2b with Bermuda following. See you then.
  4. Take the ferry to St George. Then take the bus to Crystal Caves. After touring the cave, walk to Swizzle Inn for rum swizzles and conch fritters. Take the bus to the aquarium. After that, take the bus to Hamilton. Either walk around in Hamilton and then take the ferry back, or just take the ferry back. It's a long day, but you're doing everything ala carte so the cost is very reasonable.
  5. Keep in mind you will probably need an accessible room. Your scooter needs to be kept inside your room when not in use. It can't be kept outside your room in the hallway. For practice in using a scooter, just go to your local supermarket or Walmart and use theirs. Keep in mind that a rental will be smaller than and easier to handle.
  6. Rcl did not offer a shuttle this past fall, and for some reason, private operators like the street cars were not allowed either. I wound up taking a taxi.
  7. The immediate area around the ship usually shuts down about Six. The only places that will probably be open are the few bars across the street from the ship. Really slim pickings in my opinion.
  8. For just walking around, recommend Halifax. As soon as you get off the ship, you're on the boardwalk. It's loaded with shops and plenty of places to eat.
  9. Keep in mind that in Boston you dock in an industrial area. The open attraction nearby is Harpoon Brewery (only 2 blocks away). Take a taxi or Uber to Fanuel Hall and just wander around there.
  10. Why would anyone bring five and seven year old children to Senor Frogs? Certainly not for the food. Or the atmosphere.
  11. He may not be the permanent cd there. I seem to remember him on the Anthem or Oasis last year.

    Kalik t-shirt?

    The Straw Market.
  13. Ten baskets, or one basket with ten items? On the Anthem it was just one basket.
  14. Nope, you're completely wrong. My wife and I play trivia all the time when the ship is in port.
  15. There usually have trivia every hour or so. But they are doing away with the prizes. On the Anthem they were giving out tickets for a raffle drawing on the last sea day.
  16. If I remember correctly from a cruise about 3 years ago, Rookie is a cover band playing 80's music, not a tribute band.
  17. Puerto Plata is also on the Jan 2024 sailings on the Anthem out of Cape Liberty. it replaced the stop at Puerto Rico. I never liked the 3-11pm stop there anyway, only two hours of daylight.
  18. The shows in the Royal Theater seem very skimpy. I've never seen the fly in headliners perform on two different nights. When the Oasis sails out of Cape Liberty, there's different entertainment every night. Also, is there an omelet station in the WJ? There was none last season when she did the sailings from Bayonne.
  19. Why don't you call the shore excursions department?
  20. Have each of you put two each in your carry-ons. Security would not care.
  21. Lunch is usually 11-3 or 3:30. Dinner usually 5-8:30 or 9:00. Hours can vary a little from ship to ship.
  22. Yes, most beaches and man made beaches are free. Don't know the ages of the people involved, but look into Adastra Gardens with it's flamingo show or Fish Fry for food and beers.
  23. I was told by C&A that children do get drinks and pictures. And the drinks are not provided by your room steward but rather a rep with a list from the LA.
