The ramp at Bar Harbor after you get off the tender can be very tricky. At high tide, it's not too steep and therefore manageable. But at low tide it's very steep . The trick is to get there at high tide. It doesn't matter as much when you're returning because it's downhill.

You can also take the #10 jitney (small bus) to Fish Fry, as well as back to the port. It's about $1.50 each way and they run about every 15-20 minutes.

It's not formal dining nights, but rather "dress your best" nights. It's up to you to decide. Right now it varies between shorts and t shirts to some still wearing tuxes. I just wear dress pants and a collared shirt. It's nights 2 & 6 on a 7 night cruise with lobster being served on night 6.

Just keep in mind that if you're going to do more than ride around the water front in San Juan, you're going to have to deal with hills. And many streets are cobblestone. Agree that the other two are a piece of cake. .

I was on the 10/22 Adventure sailing. The show was NOT canceled due to mechanical issues. Both the lighting tech for the show and bartender in the casino confirmed it was for health reasons (Covid ????). If you recall , from about 8:00 Tuesday night til the end of the cruise, all staff were wearing KN95 masks. My casino bartender told me the following day that all staff received an email telling them it was mandatory to wear them. Before then it was hit or miss if the staff was wearing a mask.

With Oasis in Europe, which ship will be in Cape Liberty for Summer 2024?

They were mandatory 2 weeks on their last cruise from Cape Liberty 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden, crew was instructed to wear their KN95s. Covid I guess.

They are more of a cooler than a refrigerator.
