  1. What NCL ship were you last on? I agree, you should of had a reply to your letter. After spending $1000s I would not be too happy about the sewer issue.

  3. Agreed. We plan on contracting pre-concierge for our upcoming sailing as I do not see what is the downside of trying to get some things handled beforehand. Thank you for mentioning that your steward and butler seemed to appreciate the notice. I think this is a very good point.
  4. Do you have the beverage package and when did you book your sailing? The water promotion was valid for only three months. Yes, you will be charged for the cans of diet coke in your cabin; however, you can always bring glasses of it back to your cabin.
  5. We also plan on skipping lunch on our private tour. We want to go to the caves and then the turtles. Please report back your experience and have a great time.
  6. We are doing a private tour for our group. The price was not really a lot more per person. I would definitely e-mail back again and tell them you are interested in a private tour.
  7. Thank you. I think I will order two for my two young adult children to take on our upcoming March cruise. They are always making some concoctions.
  8. I think the pyramid is part of the water park that is not too far away from the pier.

  10. Received two FCCs on two cruises where there was a price drop. Both times I received a confirmation email detailing the terms. Did you receive a confirmation email?
  11. I was very happy to have it issued quickly and be done with it. One less thing to work on.
  12. Oh, I agree with you 100%. I think the water promotion was and continues to be badly handled. The principal of it led me to e-mail VP Guest Services and which led them to gifting me one 6 pack. Not the four which I was led to believe I was entitled to, but I gladly accepted the offer.
  13. The norm is a cabin upgrade in the cabin category you are booked in. However, sometimes they do run a 10% promotion. We took advantage of this promotion when we are on the Joy this past September. It was not advertised at all but I knew from reading these boards to ask about it so I did.
  14. Sent in my request on January 18th for two sailings--one in March 2023 and one in August 2023. Received both OBCs this morning so it took 8 days.
  15. But both say "exclusions apply" which I think means you will not be receiving the water as you did not book during the 3 month booking window.

  17. I looked at my nephew's confirmation for our upcoming cruise (I booked it so a copy of his confirmation went to me). The code you mentioned above is not there; however, when I go into his account, it is listed separately that they will be receiving 12 waters on his summary page. They graciously offered to give us some since my daughter told them I have been obsessed with the water promotion (whatever you would call it) and I thought we would be receiving 24. With their contribution to us, our loyalty status water and the 6 NCL are given us since I complained, I am good. However, I still think it is wrong the way NCL is handling the water situation.
  18. Notice it says "exclusions apply"? That is the booking window of the three months they ran the promotion without telling everyone it was a limited promotion.
  19. If it was just the four of us, I would definitely agree with you. However, half of the extended family members will not be in the Haven so most of our dinners will be outside of Haven. The last time my husband and I were in a Haven cabin, he had the filet four times for breakfast, but did choose other choices for dinner a lot besides the filet. For us, there is something so delicious about the filet in Teppanyaki. Probably all of the butter and soy sauce they cook it in. But I do know we will keep everything in perspective and have a wonderful cruise with family we do not get to see a lot.
  20. Some of these comments are just way overboard. Continue to do what you need to do for your family. I must have been a bad helicopter parent because I always had food back in the cabin for my two children to snack on when needed when they were younger. It is a miracle they are both young adults now holding down well respected jobs.
