  1. I would suggest the Alaska State Museum, 395 Whittier St., Juneau, Alaska. https://museums.alaska.gov Artifacts and exhibits on Alaska's people, history and art. It was a fascinating look back at the indigenous people and how they live. It took me about 2 hrs. to go through and cost about $10.
  2. Yes, the 5 for 4 beer bucket deal lives! I was on the Crown in May and again in October and beer buckets were available at the upper deck bars, not Crooner's, vines or any interior bar. I tried. Selection may vary.
  3. Cancel your paid reservations and make your reservations immediately upon boarding. Call the DINE line or visit your preferred restaurant. Someone at each venue will take your reservations.
  4. This story is worthy of a fresh batch of popcorn and cocktails. It's going to be a crash and I can't look away!
  5. JSW- I doubt that is the case, OP has received them before. Maybe OP has a RC mini and there is no Suites up for bid.
  6. Your specific cruise may be sold out with nothing to bid on.
  7. No. QR code is no longer issued.
  8. Owning a commanding 100 shares, this has been the plan. Buying under $10.00/share doesn't hurt either.
  9. I have been able to bring a small torch lighter that is the same size as a Bic lighter. It works great in the outside smoking areas that can be quite breezy. I believe the prohibition may be with larger torch lighters. Buy a small inexpensive lighter and pack it in your carry-on. I've never had a problem. Of course, YMMV.
  10. Download the Uber/Lyft apps. From there you can get a price quote. Surge/dynamic pricing may be in effect for pier 27.
  11. These are the "ticket": https://www.amazon.com/Carnival-FUNMCAN-Waterproof-Essentials-Accessories/dp/B0C6MW9HRX/ref=sr_1_7?crid=OTOH6O2MQ7GO&keywords=luggage+tag+holders&qid=1701316380&sprefix=luggage+tag+holders%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-7
  12. No and no. EZair and transfers are separate but quite often booked together. I have flown not using EZair and used a transfer and also used EZair and not booked a transfer.
  13. Door prizes are not available on 3 day sailings, apparently. I was on the Crown last month for a 3 day sail and the door prize scheme never happened. Casino staff was ignorant as to the parameters of the program.
  14. Since no one knows, it obviously means "Do Not Discuss". 🤣
  15. Plaza Deck, far forward next to the anchor chain locker! 🤣
  16. I believe the "private driver" in the DR would be a person that drives you around the Dominican Republic.
  17. It goes like this: Me-"My muster station is?" Security- "Station "C"." Me- "Thank you." I never stop moving to hold up any queue that may or may not be there.
  18. As you board and encounter your first ship's security person, ask them for the location of your Muster Station. Muster stations are located on deck 7, Promenade deck. Muster station "A" is located in the Princess Theater, then B, C, D etc moving aft on deck 7. Knock that out as soon as you board and then watch the muster movie on your smart device while you have lunch waiting for your room to open.
  19. Ta's hold blocks of rooms for their sales and they will show as booked until the TA gives up the rooms for general booking.
  20. Sealed non-alcoholic drinks are ok.
  21. IIRC, there are QR codes for the bar you are in on the tables.
  22. seeing how the last post was 8 months ago, contact them directly.
  23. I was given 2 reservation cards by my steward telling me when and where to show up for dinner.
