Have you been on any of the other Royal Class ships as the Majestic is different from those to some extent.

I just checked the NSW Port Authority website & it shows the Discovery Princess first arriving in Sydney, November 29th 2025. Not sure if that is the final listing.

I have just seen a report from the Royal Princess that Steve Holland has replaced Andrea Spinardi as captain.

Princess has just announced that they will be posting medallions to Canada as of September 25th. Maybe there is hope for us yet 🤞

We cruised out of Southampton in June & they didn’t even want to see proof of vaccination. No boarding times & even with collecting our medallions we were onboard in 10mins 😱

I will be very interested in the protocols for Aussie cruises for this coming summer. The first will be when the coral gets back from the world cruise I guess 🤔

That could be right. We had all our docs & test results, were green lane on the app & were on in about 20 mins

I suppose it depends on the ship & the time. Last November when we boarded the Majestic the queue for non priority boarding was all the way back to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Luckily we had the priority boarding so just walked through.

Actually at the Sydney OPT there really isn't room for multiple lanes

This is the new system that has come in with the latest enhancements. Only started in August. supposedly they will eventually post medallions worldwide

It will be a very quiet green lane for Australian & New Zealand departures as I would think about 90% of the passengers would be Aussie & Kiwi

I can help with a couple of your questions; Everyone gets the Medallion, it has taken the place of your cruise card. As an Elite you get the internet at 1/2 price & can be purchased onboard on a day by day basis if you don't want to go for the whole cruise package. Not sure of the price & that would depend on where you are cruising from.

That is the question I am hoping to have answered. Can we share a Pizza & a salad & use just one of our casual dining options? That is what we use to have when dining at Alfredo's

Yes sorry I did miss those. At the moment while cruising out of Australia the Coral has a slightly different menu in Bayou Cafe than the Island.

No problems. I did make one error according to the princess web site Kai Sushi is now a Casual Dining venue

I believe the speciality restaurants would include Crown Grill Sabatini’s The Catch by Rudi Sterling Steakhouse Kai Sushi (Diamond Princess) Harmony (Majestic Princess) There may be some others but that would be the main ones

We have a similar sort of question. We would normally order 1 salad & 1 Pizza & share it. Could we now just order 1 x 3 course meal & share that 🤔🤔🤔

If you do the fake booking be very careful as it appears Princess are offering a lot more “non refundable “ bookings at the moment which may mean your FCD would be forfeit.

You need to log into your booking on Princess.com & look at your travel summary for the cruise. That will tell you what is included in your booking.

We don’t eat multiple courses at Alfredo’s just share a salad & a pizza. I’m hoping we can still do that 🤞

I don’t know if this has been mentioned in this forum as yet. Green lane boarding now comes with Plus & Premier if you have your medallion delivered to your home. We live in Australia & home delivery of a medallion is not available to us, so does that mean we can never be green lane before arriving at the dock. We are Elite with Princess & normally have priority boarding, that was one of the perks of being loyal to Princess

If you log into your Princess account (not the app) & go to the Travel Summary for your cruise it will tell you what currency you will be charged.
