    You don't get them on Princess cruises out of Australia now. As far as I know only out of UK.

    I am reading that the captain on the Island at the moment is Paul Slight. Do you know if he will stay on at the end of the world cruise or is he due for leave?

    Have just seen reports of a change to dining on the newer Royal class ships including Enchanted. French bistro going & Sabatini's going in its place then The Catch by Rudi (seafood restaurant) going in where Sabatini's was on Deck 5.

    The island has a gap in her schedule from May 24 2024 till July 5th 2024. 6 week refit announced on the current WC last night.

    Thank you very much for the Menu's. Interesting to see a one page menu including desserts. Our cruise last November we were still given the dessert menu after the main course. I don't always have dessert & usually decide after main course.

    Thank you very much for the info. I will have to bring a multi USB charger from home. A bit surprised at that. I wonder why they didn't add them to the Island when they have done other ships.

    We will be on the Island Princess in June this year & I wondered if there are any dedicated USB plugs in the cabins. I know the Coral & the Grand have had these added. Would also love to see a couple of MDR menu's if someone has the time to photo & post. Many thanks Dianne

    On our recent cruise on the Grand Princess the clock started the day you tested positive.

    I can help with a couple of your questions. There are 3 main dining rooms all have the same menu. Deck 5 midships, Deck 6 midships & Deck 6 aft. Aside from the buffet there is Alfredo's Pizzeria which is a free option.

    No definitely not. My son in law had a sore throat for 2 days & that’s all. I know other people who have had a range of symptoms but not a cough. that’s why it’s so hard to know if you possibly have it

    For the cruise personalizer you need to log into Princess.com then log into your account or cruise booking. Luggage tags available after final payment

    I can give you the Princess ships Coral Princess the smaller of the 2 currently in Australia Guests 2,000 Crew 895 Tonnage: 91,627 Majestic Princess Guests 3,560 Crew 1,346 Tonnage: 143,700

    There are 2 possible answers for this. First it might be used as Club Class breakfast & lunch venue Second for those ships without a dedicated Alfredo’s Pizza venue Sabatinis has been having Alfredo’s pizzas at lunch time on sea days. Might be worth asking if you are into pizza 🍕

    The Coral & Island Princess were built specifically for the old Panama Canal locks. Now with the new wider lock they are not required so have been moved to other areas. Island to Norway & Coral to OZ & to replace the Sun & Sea etc for the Aust world cruise.

    We will be on the Grand at the end of the Alaska season. Does anyone know if there will be a crew change (Captain, Executive Chef, Cruise Director) before then?
