  1. Not all doom and gloom https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/27776-carnival-cruise-line-to-operate-full-ships-this-summer-at-110-percent-occupancy.html
  2. That has always been Carnival Cruise Lines target market. They have other lines available as cruisers mature. They prefer cruisers who cruise for the brand, not for the perks.
  3. I'm not sure NCL is. I think they hit an iceberg the other day.
  4. Gatorade/Powerade that kind of stuff? Any for sale on the ships? Emerald Princess if it makes a difference.
  5. Ok. I guess try and see what happens.
  6. Ah, that explains it. When I searched on Gatorade this was the only thread that seemed relevant.
  7. So bottles are okay, even though the cruise contract thinks not? "Guests are also prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in bottles. A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day, only if carried on in Guests’ hand luggage (not in checked luggage). A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person. Guests will be asked to discard open beverages in plastic containers prior to boarding."
  8. If I have a complaint about service, food, whatever on a cruise, I try to get it taken care of while on the cruise and give them an opportunity to fix or at least explain. After the fact is too late. Of course, that is just my opinion.
  9. *All of these offers are capacity controlled and not for the general public.
  10. There's social media channels for everyone. Just pick one that agrees with you.
  11. and in other news https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/27776-carnival-cruise-line-to-operate-full-ships-this-summer-at-110-percent-occupancy.html
  12. Still included. Some only have a subset of the menu you would find in the venues on other ships.
  13. That seems like two different complaints. On the second complaint, did you ask the cruise director about it?
  14. This and this alone for today's drop. The brawl is a non-event. https://finance.yahoo.com/video/carnival-cruise-line-stock-plunges-135712730.html
  15. Depends on which airport, but if using Carnival transportation to LAX or Long Beach, the recommendations are Pier-to-airport transportation Return flights must not be any earlier than: 7:00 AM Ship Arrival: • Los Angeles International Airport: 12:00 PM • Long Beach Airport: 11:00 AM 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM Ship Arrival: • Los Angeles International Airport: 1:00 PM • Long Beach Airport: 12:30 PM https://www.carnival.com/airport-transfers/los-angeles
  16. Someone posted in the other tread that the Captain had announced the day before that the ship would be docking around 6am.
  17. Carnival disputes they were "forced" "The NYPD initially described the incident as an emergency docking, but Carnival said in a statement that the stop was scheduled all along."
  18. Typically security is outside of the venue to verify people are old enough to go in.
  19. Apparently there is only one source who lead a story about the fight, and within the story, Carnival disputes the title. The NYPD initially described the incident as an emergency docking, but Carnival said in a statement that the stop was scheduled all along.
  20. I don't see that price. Is is available to everyone? What sail date?
  21. I wouldn't and still wouldn't. I really have no comment on what you suggested or not. I never said anything about crew members lying. I suggested that people who derive income from tabloid journalism might try to one up each other. Because you don't like my opinion, is no reason to attack me or make false statements.
