  1. I think more like light molasses. Not at all coffee.
  2. It really doesn't matter, because Aruba is a distant foreign port, so you could leave the ship in a different US port.
  3. You are wrong. Port charges are much less than $100. In the past, when enough people complained, Carnival decided fine, we will only refund port charges, and kept the goodwill offering.
  4. Bingo. I usually check the mini-fridge temp, also and starting to check outside temps.
  5. Black something or other is the mushroom pate and that is the color it should be.
  6. Sounds like the beginning of a good gumbo.

  10. Our cabin was in the 60s our entire last cruise. It's been a long time since we've had a cabin that we considered warm and never anything approaching 80 degrees.

  14. I might ask in a current cruise Splendor roll call. In the past I've cruised on Splendor in Southern and Northern Europe, around Cape Horn, and through the Panama Canal. The "old" Internet might not have been super fast, but I found it acceptable. I just wish they had unlimited plans back then, instead of by the minute.

  18. There are many red flag. The IRS doesn't have the resources to audit everyone. https://www.kiplinger.com/taxes/tax-returns/602068/irs-audit-red-flags
  19. One of your employees does all of the work and the rest do none. Do you care? All the work gets done. Same bucket.
  20. Corporate expects a certain ROI from each entity. They are separate.
  21. Significantly less than 1% of taxpayers are audited.
  22. It's all Carnival Corp, but the casino and cruise line are separate.
  23. That's via casino marketing, not Carnival marketing. The people who actually pay for Cheers should protest, as it means they can wait even longer for their drinks.
  24. LNG may not be good enough, but many interesting alternatives are being investigated, including battery powered for a day. https://businessnorway.com/articles/green-cruising-norway-world-heritage-fjords-becoming-emission-free
