  1. Quantum is just not having a good summer. Poor girl...
  2. Ovation is turn around in Seattle today. Quantum is docked in Juneau.
  3. Yah same for Cape Liberty - 3 cruises post pandemic so far, and all 3 we received a message like this. But when you get to the terminal they're telling people standing outside waiting for their timeslots to just "come on in"
  4. Also, did you have anything booked via your Cruise Planner? Those are entitled to refunds.
  5. If in a suite can you get a PlayStation? They can play DVDs. Is this a thing or was I imagining this "perk"
  6. Lol I just checked another of my sailings, and beat my own price by $2 more!
  7. I checked 3 sailings, none of which have anything better to offer in pricing than what I've seen randomly popup. One sailing has a slightly better drink package, but I'm not in the market for that.
  8. I think there's a Kids-Sail-Free promo, but also I think that's for kids 12 and under, so it wouldn't be appealing to parents with teens. Knowing about the promo for this Sunday's sailing, I expect to see some elementary kids on board. There's ALWAYS gonna be some kids on a Royal Caribbean ship, despite any school schedule! Lots of home schooled kids will be "learning at sea" lol...
  9. You're heading outside of Bahamian waters to dump grey water. They do this from time to time.
  10. It was one for the ages... That's cool to know they still exist. We haven't seen either the apparent icon on the left or the data on the rotating info in years!
  11. 10am is the earliest check in time. With flexible arrival time, that would imply you could arrive at 9am for check in, but you may have to wait to board the ship until 10-10:30. We're 10:30 for this Sunday, but will get there around 9:30 just to see how it goes.
  12. Just check the offer site. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/cruise-room-upgrade You can adjust your sliders. I'm looking at my offer (for this coming Sunday) and the status says "Currently unavailable" so I'll be in my original crown loft.
  13. In the Lounge, coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Each evening, between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are available for our Suite guests. This is word for word from the concierge email. It doesn't mention beer/wine/soda being available during the day, but people say it is. So the letter is still a bit confusing to me. I'll know more on Sunday 😉
  14. He started rotation earlier this month, so will be on for awhile then rotate out, then return by around mid-December I think. Are they 10 week rotations? If so, that would estimate his return around 12/18.
  15. Captain Johnny is always worth a Q&A visit! We had them on Adventure (May) and Oasis (Jun).
  16. Most NY and NJ schools starting this week or next. I know parents will easily pull their kids out of school for cruises, but I just feel like they're less likely to do so on the first day, or first week of school. That seems too important lol.
  17. Remember when those maps had Wind Speeds?
  18. I could see that. They have 3-4 basic tv channels, news channels, that they don't charge for. It would probably be a nice upselling opportunity on board, when you realize how slow the free stuff is, you'll stop by the internet desk and they'll conveniently charge your seapass card 🙂
  19. Demand for cruising will go up with more reliable internet. I'm a perfect example. If I know I can work reliably onboard, taking Teams calls even, that will probably mean I'm cruising 2-3 MORE times per year. Multiply me by thousands, and you have demand and increased prices.
