You did arrive at a peak time so some delay is to be expected but 2.5 hours is much more than I would tolerate. I would have been gone gone at around 2 hours.

Having the crew serve food at the buffet was getting a little old. I was really tired of having to ask for a little more of each item.

I just checked an the only limitation is having to spend $100 or more.

I'll have to agree with that. Many items at the buffet have had a reduction in quality. Although there were still many items to chose from, there has been a noticeable decline in quality & selections. There were times where I just took a piece of meat & left it on the plate, which hasn't occurred in the past. The cost of doing business has affected Princess as well.

Before the plus package we did it all the time at almost every distant port. After they scan you when boarding, sometimes they just tell you to take it to the check-in desk but most people just bypass it and proceed to their cabins.

Every time I stood on line they knew exactly what I was there for. If I was getting that many incorrect charges, others must have also. I wonder how many people just didn't see them on the medallion app or waited until the last day when they couldn't be easily identified. Anyway you beat me. We had to paid $6.65 to our charge card. They had a sale on some earrings that I couldn't pass up.

The walk from Crown Bay to Charlotte Amalie is a little longer & there's not much of a view- Mostly past businesses. But it's is close to Lindbergh Bay Beach which is very nice and an easy walk- side walks all the way.

From what I saw was desserts that might appeal to kids more than adults.

I just received my statement from Jan 8 trip. I always like to have them charge a small amount to my credit card rather than worry about receiving a refund. Waiting for a check in the mail is frustrating but they will send it in a month or so. btw- We had numerous incorrect charges for drinks which I had immediately corrected at the PSD. Check your statement daily.

Princess hasn't docked at Crown Bay in in many years now, although I wish they would return on occasion. I'm not into shopping so Havensight doesn't really appeal to me.

After doing a couple of cruise with the drink package I've found that it's not for use either. We were drinking just to feel we got our money's worth & the internet was a joke unless you were awake at 3 AM so it would actually work. Most of the time it was almost impossible to use. We returning to the days of RumRunners and no internet.

Don't all the kids in school nowadays receive a trophy for participation? $100 OBC is generous even if Princess did make a mistake by placing his name at the bottom of the check.

Looks like the area will be under construction for quite a while. It's hard to conceive that they have sufficient space to build all of that in such a small area.

I didn't try to walk to 17th street but it appeared that the whole back area is closed off since the cranes are constructing the new garage and room is limited. I doubt if they would let anyone enter the area since it's under major construction. You'll have to go all the way out to Eisenhower Blvd to get to 17 street. If I can find a photo from last week, I'll post it.

Sounds like someone screwed up by placing a name on the check to begin with, not knowing who would be the winner. At least you received the $100 OBC to cover a dinner.

I'm not to happy with ParkN Go after returning to my car with a dead battery yesterday. They moved my car & shut it off with it still in drive. I suppose there's something about that position that slowly drains the battery. 🥺 At least they didn't leave the window open.

Only because the dining room can be extremely slow (2 hours) on some ships and if you're in a rush to attend some show it provides a much faster meal. In our past cruises we haven't seen that many people abusing the health protocols at the buffet.

Just to confirm, we just returned from our cruise and had no problem using the Excursion Credit in their casino just like any other OBC.

I don't know about the update of the medallion app, we gave up on it a few years ago since it didn't offer anything worth while for texting. The easiest & best thing to do is download the WhatsApp application which offers both texting & voice communication on board even without purchasing an internet package. It does give an audible alert for texts but it's a one time alert and hard to hear over the background noise. The phone option works well but I've found that one of it's drawbacks id the microphone pick up to much of the background & unless you're in a quiet location, it's difficult to use. I suppose there's a way to adjust it but I didn't find one while on the ship and just lived with the problem. btw- WhatsApp is also useful for transferring photo's and videos between phones.

I've just got the feeling that they might want slow things down a bit to drive more people to purchase the package.

It will be for now, until everyone has to pay $10 to have them shipped.
